• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We'll that's what a dealer told me today after a 2 hour drive one way from home.
I know the differences and it sadden me to hear not one but 2 trained professionals, swear that they were the exact same and that nothing in the in the 2 model years had changed I walked out with disbelief and a 2 hour drive back home. Is this normal has Customer service gotten horrible everywhere.

This kind of thing is quite common in my experience I've been to car stores and been told many things that if the salesman would have spent 10 min with the brochure they would have never said ,usually by the time I go to a dealership and look I've have read so much that I know 3 times as much about the product as the salesman ,yes this happens all the time if you ask most these people have only worked there a short time

Sadly..!!

uninformed there are many...hope you didn't drive there just to ask them...:roflblack: But the ryde must have been nice. We are seeing our fellow ryder putting their roadsters up for the winter who would have loved the ryde even to hear the answer...and giggle...:ohyea:

Dealers like that can more fun fun than a barrel-full of drunk monkeys! :D
Gee... those wheels look bigger on this one?
Are those Brembo brakes?
Where's the battery on this one? Is it in the same place as in this one?

(These will REALLY scare them...)
I heard that this one has the throttle by wire system and the 991 series engines; what does THIS one have?
Those frames look different...
By the time you get to the last couple of questions; the idiot will be redder than a steamed lobster! :roflblack: nojoke
