• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I don't what else to do my 2011 spyder-rt has been in the shop 6 or 7 times. for several problems (engine failur, check engine limp mode,DPS faillur limp mode,ACS not working, teckometer broken,T/B replaced.) got it out of shop in time to go on vacation(2,500miles) when on trip found out VSC quit working. after we got home found thises problems-bike would start as soon as you turn key on in any gear VCS not working DPS not working. It seems all safety devices went out an computer didn't show anything wrong :cus: screen on dash not working:banghead: I am so tired of all the problems I've had that I am begining to hate my spyder:mad: I have liked it from the start but now:cus: It realy makes me mad that on the first trip all the safety devices go out and put me an my wifes life in danger. can-am sales the spyders on safety so that allmost anyone can ride one:yikes: thanks for letting me vent my dislike of my problems!:banghead: an let every one know to beware:barf:

Sounds like you've got a bit to vent about. Hope they can get you fixed up and really hope I don't run into those issues. Just went over 1500 miles today.

3,000 miles plus. No problems.

I'm really sorry to hear of all your RT issues. It just doesn't sound right, to me. I've had my 2011 RT-S SE-5 for over a year, now, and haven't had ANY issues at all. Over 3,000 miles on it, and it runs like a fine, Swiss watch. My dealer, Jesco Marine, in Kalispell, MT has one of the best mechanics I've ever met, and I've only had to visit him once (for the 600 mile service). I'm just wondering if you might be having Sevice Tech. issues. Good ones are very hard to find, it seems.
Take care,
CapNCrunch

I recommend checking with other dealers in your area for service if possible. Check out the recommended dealer list through the search mode.
