2011 RTS/SE5 Fog Lights not working

We have a 2011 RTS/SE5 and I noticed tonight the fog lights are not on. I tried the switch, HI/LO just to make sure they weren't on and I can't get them to come on. I looked in the owners manual and it shows the "headlight" fuse to be #7 30A under the seat. I checked that and it is OK. I assumed that the headlights are tied into the same circuit as the headlights. I didn't see a separate for the fog lights.

Anyone have any ideas on what the issue could be or somewhere else I should look?:dontknow:

I have not washed the bike or added anything new to it. This issue just popped up tonight....

Sorry, I'm a little confused by the explanation of your problem.
There is no Hi/Lo switch for the foglights. That's for the headlights only.
The switch for the foglights is on the center console just in front of the glove box. It is the rightmost switch.
This is the switch to turn the foglights on and off.
Had you already tried this and I just didn't understand your diagnostics ?
If you have, then I'm sorry, I don't have any more help.

The fog lights are fed through the load shedding relay (R5), so they only work with the engine running. They are fed through fuse F8, along with the heated grips, front case light, hood actuator (2010 RT), etc. The switch is not hi-lo, you rock it forward (push down on the icon) to activate the foglights.

OK, thanks for the info. Just went out to check and I had forgotten all about the center switch for the fog lights. When I can in and told the wife that her fog lights didn't work. She didn't say one thing about the switch, and for some reason I thought "today" they were suppose to work with the HI/LO switch. When I came in and told her about the switch in the center, her response was..."I could of told you that!". Now you would of thought when I came in and mentioned her fog lights weren't working that she might of mentioned the center switch...Nooooooooo.

Yep, she let me fall on that sword all by myself.....

Thanks for the help and clearification. This is my bonehead move for the day. I guess the bright side is that I waited to make the bonehead move at the end of the day...I guess?:dontknow:

2014 SE-6 Fog lights not working

anyone have knowledge on 2014 SE-6 RT fog light issue? I checked the Right Side Fuse box J4 30 amp fuse and it looks good. Swapped it out with the other 30 amp at the end and the fan came on after sitting and running (so that put the bad fuse issue to bed) and now I'm stumped. Could it be the switch ? only has a bit over 300 miles on it.:dontknow:

Your mention of J4 is for Europe configured Spyder

The US/Canada configuration for the Fog light is as follows:

1. Battery
2. RFB - Accessories fuse (J2) 40 AMP
3. RFB - Horn, Load shedding relay (F5)
4. RFB - Load Shedding relay (R4)
5. Fog light Switch ( Right most switch on center switch console)
6. Fog light bulb

The engine has to be running and the Fog Light Switch pressed forward for the Fog lights to come on. Do your heated hand grips and passenger heated grips work? If so then the switch for the Fog light is bad or you have a fog light wiring problem.
