2011 RTS clutch fluid issue

So got back from Spyderquest and today went out to wash Spyder and do a quick check over. Found clutch lever not feeling right, popped reservoir and found very little fluid. Also the black sludge people have discussed in other threads. Topped off and feels better but not right. My question is does anyone know if this problem is covered under B.E.S.T. warranty. I can't find anything saying the clutch system is covered....

Don't know..!!

I doubt it cause that is considered a maintenance or normal wear issue. Your fluid needs changing and system flushed. Your o-rings and seals are worn and hence the black sludge. You could flush the system refill and bleed and be alright but I would rebuild the slave and master and be good for the future...:thumbup:

Your o rings and maybe clutch piston maybe bad my bike is in the shop for this.check the post here on SL
