2011 RT. Brake and shifter NOT adjustable ??

REALLY ?? On a machine that originally retailed for OVER $20,000 ???
SERIOUSLY ??
Adjustable pedal position...via an adjustable linkage.....that is.

The salesman said YES.
The service tech says NO.

I suspect that the service dept. is right but I'm more than a little disappointed.

Update:
While taking seemingly every piece of body work loose to take out some dead LED wiring :yes:
I discovered that the shifter linkage IS adjustable; imagine that.

Haven't looked at the brake side yet but I bet that it is too.
Can't trust anybody anymore.

I also found the tool kit that the service department said was missing; strapped right there to the underside of the seat.

RE: Brake pedal. We installed floorboards on our 2011 RT. I felt that the brake pedal was then to close for safe emergency stops. We bought a bigger pedal and it came with the proper riser. It works for us.

I agree about the spacer I just added a 1 and 1/2 inch spacer with longer bolts and it worked out great.

Well with the one I have, the shifter linkage has the traditional adjustable linkage rod; you loosen two lock nuts and make the rod longer or shorter, allowing for smaller adjustments.

Like others have mentioned, I have a larger brake pedal on order and will "shim" it up with spacers and longer bolts as needed.

Have a close look at the brake. The rod may be adjustable, but the pedal posistion may not be. Use care if you adjust the brake rod, you do not want to block the bleed hole as the brakes will drag or not release when hot.

You might however be able to locate the pedals hard stop and change that, but I do not recall it being adjustable.

Agree...

On many (RS 2012) the shifter had the toe section adjustable as well as the lever to the shaft. Unfortunately the brake was fixed. As you can see from other posts there are options. In my case I made up new pedals...:thumbup:

we also have a manual park brake pedal so I did that one as well after banging up my shin a few time....
