2010 RT-S oil pressure light stays on after diagnostic cycle

Hello all

I was just wandering if this was normal. I just noticed that my oil light stays on after my diagnostic cycle. As soon as I start the engine the light goes away. I had checked my oil and it was indeed low. filled it with the same oil as used by my dealer. levels seem fine according to directions. I am going in for a oil change next week since its almost time anyway but was wondering if i am hurting anyting in the mean time. it seems to be driving better than ever at present. It may have been there all the time but i never noticed it. My Rt has 7200 miles on it.

Have to agree..!!

:agree: this is normal. It is an oil pressure switch and untill there is pressure it stays on. If it stays or comes on while running then worry. :thumbup:
