2009 RS. Not ridden for year. Rode like new.

I had a bad car accident last year and haven’t taken my Spyder out in about 16 months. I have had it on a trickle charger and finally took it for service today. Figured fluids, plugs, etc. Like a 2 year service.

The bike started right up. Rode perfectly to the shop. Gears smooth. No vibration. No smoke.

Got a call that it was already serviced with zero problems found. Except some recall that requires an ordered part.

I have always loved this bike but am impressed that it can sit and sit and still be in perfect working order.

Welcome back. :2thumbs::2thumbs::2thumbs: We have at least a six month lay up when the snow and ice come. I put both on battery tenders and they start the first try.

Good to know that if a longer lay up is necessary, that it will mostly likely not be an issue. :yes:
