Hey all,
This is my first post here so I'm not sure if this has been talked about yet or not, if it has if someone could direct me to the thread I would appreciate it.
Now on to my issue. I purchased the HMF exhaust/EFI controller and K&N filter upgrade for my 09 Spyder. I did the install myself and things seemingly went smooth, I should have known better. When I mounted my exhaust I removed the stock exhaust and mounted the HMF pipe in the same bracket I took the stock exhaust off of (I have included a pic as mine appears to be different from others I have seen after doing some research). After getting everything buttoned up I took it out for a little ride and when I got back home the inside of the pipe was all scratched and dinged up from hitting the brake when I go over bumps. This is when I started looking at pics and vids of others mounting the exhaust and I can see mine is in a mount that is too low. Now that I see where it's suppose to go I have been struggling to remove the nut/bolt from the correct mount as I can't seem to find anything to get on the nut on the inside of the mount....
Any help would be appreciated!!!!!
