• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

i found ride whright...but you need an adapter, trying to stay away from that, thibeault Quebec only makes 14 inch nice but to small, id like to have low profiles,:dontknow:....any after market's with three holes????

I need to keep my fenders ...quebec law...with adapters i lose width can't go wyder than 185....how thick are your adapter's????altonk

Ride Wright does not need an adapter. They bolt right up, because they are custom cut for the Spyder. They are a fantastic wheel, but you will have to modify your fenders if you have to have them.

One thing that you need to watch when increasing the tread width of an independently sprung suspension is the increased loads imparted on the components... mainly the bearings.
When I owned my 64 Avanti, I installed mag wheels that offset the tires about an inch. This small difference magnified the loading enough that the bearings wore out in short order. These vehicles were designed to withstand certain loads, and when loading is increased, it can cause premature failures. :lecturef_smilie:

Thank's for the info guy's.... i found a specialist who will modify my bearings and fit an adapter....keep you posted with the modif.

The large diameter tires are just a bling thing, autocross and open wheel guys stay at 15. The big tires have too much angular momentum takes more power to spin up and down
