Scheduled the 14K mile service appt today, for two weeks from now. I don't get it, I asked to have the plugs and wires changed, only to once again be told there are no wires to replace on my 2010 RT 998 V-Twin. My plan was to order BajaRon's set and take them along the day of, (since you guys are saying that BRP's are crap). Who do I believe here...all of you guys, or the dealer?
pps: I will forego the valve check, simply due to the history/numbers of those that actually require an adjustment. Also passing on the oil change, since that was done 1000 miles ago. So, what say you???? Do I order the plugs AND wires from Ron and take them along for the service? After tonight's ride I may pass on the lazer alignment that I was pondering also. Seems to track nice and straight.
