• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi, Looking to put in a gps & a xm. Wear can i pick up 12v off key. Fuse box up front? Thanks

There is no switched accessory circuit on the RT, as there is on the RS. I suggest a relay-switched aftermarket fuse block. I used an Eastern Beaver 3CS on each of my RTs, but there are other solutions.

Two easy access points for switched power:

Up Front: power source(s) on either of your fuel/temperature gauges;

In the rear: Heated passenger grip

As Scotty indicated previously, you may want to consider investing in a fuse block and independent relay to protect the RTs electronics.

My fuse block and relay are mounted in the bottom of the rear trunk and supplies power to my GPS, an additional 12V receptacle, as well as auxiliary lighting etc.....

I'm sure what NorthStar means is that you can get power to switch the relay there. These circuits are not suitable for use to power accessories! The source of you power should be the battery, if you go with an auxiliary fuse block. For the negative connection, do not use the jumper terminal under the seat! Loosening it has unpleasant consequences. Go directly to the battery, fuel tank ground, or forward chassis ground (also a tricky one).

I have a 2010 RT-S and I just put an eastern beaver power center 8 fuse block up front to power my LED driving lights and my gps. Works great and easy to install.

Correct Scotty. An oversite on my part.
