• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

12 volt power

The wife is terrible with following GPS on my phone so I want to mount one next to instrument cluster so I can see it as I ride. That is no problem at all, but I need 12 volt power up there. I would rather not pull from the rear trunk if possible. Was thinking maybe connecting a battery minder to the battery (for the winter) and using it to slave power from for the socket. Also needs to be rain proof. Any ideas? Other than dealership mod.

Check out jt's me jt's machine shop on the sponsor page. They have both a 12v plug and a usb that replaces one of your gauges on the day and is very easy to install and work very well.

Hooked up a battery tender jr. To battery. Fished the cable that comes with it on left side up through middle button on dash. Just unsnap cover , there is a hole there. Brought a rubber grommet at auto store to fit over plug. The tender comes with a cig. , or USB adapter. You can power anything!

That sounds like just what I'm looking for. I may get more elaborate at a later date, but right now that's what I need! Thanks!

I got mine from Cycle Gear, it comes with about 8 feet of wire it has
an inline fuse you attach it to the battery not the trike in the same way you would
hook up a battery tender....I ran mine to the dash works great and is water proof
They were on sale for about $12.00
