2014's and tires just don't mix...so to speak. There are many other car tires out there problem is hiw many miles are on them. Might search the site or there will be answers coming. Kuhomo stopped making that size but I know a member posted a list of sizes that will work...
The Falken is a good tire...
BUT...
As it wears down; it becomes a hydroplaning thrill ride!
It just sort of lost it's edge; rapidly...
At 8,000 miles; it suddenly seemed as if a heavy dew, could incite all sorts of entertainment...
But up to that point: :2thumbs:
EDIT: Please don't mis-understand me... I really liked that tire! You just had to be aware of how it changed as the tread wore down...
Bob, the Kumho had a tendency to hydroplane too as it got miles on it.
I must admit I do not get it: 12,000 miles on a rear tire is not enough?? I never had a 1300cc bike on which the rear tire went to this mileage!! Heck even on my Ural sidecar I am happy when I get 4000 miles out of my pusher! On one side we all insist a Spyder is like a motorcycle but we want to have Prius costs??

Does the Kumho hydroplane any more than the stock tire?

All I can say is that I didn't remember hydroplaning on the Kenda tire that I had on my 2010 or on the 2013. After the initial tire I replaced them with the Kumho's and I did hydroplane some as the tread was wearing down.
