• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I know there's going to be a lot of different thoughts on this, All i did was change the oil and filter eye ball every thing,

For the 12K service, the following items are specified. I have put an asterisk next to the ones I think are essential.

*1. Change engine oil & filter
*2. Replace transmission filter (SE only) per service bulletin
*3. Clean oil tank strainer
4. Check valve clearance (if not done at 6,000 miles)
5. Replace air filter
*6. Clean air filter housing
*7. Replace clutch fluid
8. Replace engine coolant
*9. Inspect radiator hoses and water pump
10. Conduct radiator cap/cooling system pressure test
*11. Replace exhaust "Y" gaskets (if not replaced with Honda gaskets)
12. Adjust reverse mechanism (SM5 only)
13. Inspect fault codes
14. Inspect wheel speed sensors
15. Inspect (test) passenger switch
*16. Clean throttle body
17. Inspect throttle twist grip
*18. Inspect fuel hoses
19. Replace spark plugs
*20. Clean battery connections
*21. Inspect lighting system
22. Inspect electric windshield (RT only)
23. Inspect (test) control switches (RT only)

Knowing Scotty's work background, he must strongly beleive in the concept of preventative maintenance which I totally agree with.
