• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

100 derful

105 recently on a nearly abandoned road somewhere between TX and NM. The first pass, I didnt try hard and seemed to give up around 95. Second time was a charm.

Riding at 100 plus

I have a RT-L and I hit 115 north bound on I-15 north of Las Vegas and felt I could go higher but the weather was not that good. Plan on getting higher down the road but will have to time it so that the NVP are not out and about.

I've always wanted to know this: do you guys in Nevada drive as fast in your home state as you do in my state? I'm always passed on the freeway in the cage with the cruise set at 80+. Just curious.

I went 115 on Ntl Trails Hwy (Rte 66) between Helendale and Hodge. It had more but I didn't. Pucker Power started setting in.

I hear ya on the tickets bro.Back in '76 I was cited for reckless driving going UP Cajon Pass racing another guy at 110 mph in a Ford PU. Should have been hauled in for a DUI but I wasn't tested. I was SO dumb and stupid in those days. I thank God I never physically hurt anybody.

I don't drink (much) anymore and never drive when I had anything to drink. I still like the feel of speed once in awhile but never in the presence of traffic, much less the CHP. I must be getting ... old.

My craziest racing story was on the 60 fwy with a buddy of mine. Me in my 84 Honda prelude, and him in his Audie. My odometer maxed out at 85 MPH and his at 110 or 120 (not sure). He could have gone faster, and I was maxed out barely keeping up. Good thing it was late at night, as we both were buzzed at the time.

Hey Brian, since you live out in the boonies. Why don't I ryde out, and we can go to a deserted road and race? Might be fun and can relive our youth, or we can just go out for a ryde.

Your RS against my RT...you call that a race? I need a turbo on this fast.

I have a sneaky suspision that a recent BUDS software update has set a limiter of 97.

I was once able to easily get to 104 on the highway. Now its a struggle to get higher than 96. On the SAME road.

Don't feel so bad.

I've tried several times and couldn't get past 98. Once was in CT, and I guess I just ran out of room.

Another time was on rt 81 with plenty of straight room. Just couldn't do it.
I had the windshield down as far as possible.

I've come to the unfortunate conclusion that I'm carrying as much weight in my butt as Lamont is in his trailer.
