Shocked the Chevy Avalanche was given this honor over Mercedes Benz. We have a tahoe and a benz, and although sturdy, the benz wears it age mechanically much better internally as well as externally. Only caveat is a marginal increase over Chevrolet in maintenance rates.

I'm not so sure that I'd trust the Avalanche to be trouble-free for all of those mile.
(I've got a Silverado...)
All of that removeable bodywork has gaskets, weatherstripping, and latching mechanisms...
I've found that those are the GM parts that will most likely drive you NUTZ!:gaah:

We're at 333673 miles as of today with only a water pump replacement, pushing for 400k

this is the second one I put over 350k on:yes: When I retire I'll buy the car I really want to drive. In sales you burn them up to fast, to drive a nice car.
