• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

“Survey Says ...”

I am still in the work force (Full time).

So mine is mostly # 1 & 2.

3 sometimes
4 & 5 never

I would fall under 1 and 2, with plans to start 3. Most of the weekend trips are 2 up with my wife.

Soon hopefully more

Right now mostly 2 ... the odd 3 , the work commute only a couple times a year if we have a meeting at the office etc

Like many others...
1 occasionally...but it's only 6 miles, so I've got to take the long way
2 frequently...usually 2 up with a local Meet Up group
3 rarely but desired
4 never...yet!
5 not morally opposed to the idea...

2,3, and 4. Retired so no commute. I don't haul my bikes, I ride them. Not against hauling and that day may come, just hasn't yet. We put around 20,000 miles per year on our Spyder and I put around 5,000 on my two wheeled bikes on solo trips.

Now that we are both retired no more number 1

So it's 2,3, and 4 for us. Over 70,000 miles of smiles on the RT. Pick up a used F3 so only about 1500 of my miles on it - so far.

Mostly 1 & 2 for me. Have a couple of #3s planned for this summer, and one #4 in August. Really looking forward to it all!

I ride year around, as long as there's no ice/snow on the ground, for anything and everything except hauling/towing

2 and 3 for us, also with a lot of evening rides after a hard day at work. No better way to relax than take a nice ride into the country, to Lake Michigan, and watch a sunset.

Only in our second month of ownership

(1) Commuter - to and from work. - I share a parking lot with a day care, so ... no.
(2) Day rydes - start at home / end at home ... maybe two tanker. - As often as the weather allows, mostly two-up. :ohyea:

(3) Multi-day / overnight / over the weekend rydes. - Only once so far, lots of fun, definitely more in the near future.

(4) Long haul touring - multi-day, multi-state / province. - No time this summer, hopefully next year.

(5) Haul it / tow it ... then day rydes - No plans for now, but who knows what the future will bring.

2,3,5 for me. If I wasn't on call for the Fire Dept and EMS shifts from my fulltime job during the day, I'd ride it to work too, but getting out the door, on the bike and to the respective station for a call, actually takes longer on the Spyder. It's hard to use the portable radio riding the bike too...LOL

50yo mostly solo ryder.

(1) Commuter - to and from work. Rain or shine.

(2) Day rydes - start at home / end at home ... maybe two tanker.
(3) Multi-day / overnight / over the weekend rydes.

I have a home office in my 3rd stall of my garage, so I commute by it every morning, then 2, 3, 4, and I've done one 5 to Spyderfest '17.
6,000+ mile trip planned last week of June, Pines to Palms IBA ride with a follow on to TotD, DT, and Cherahola Skyway:yes:

Not working, so no commute
I go on day rides with my girl-posse
I go on long travels once or twice a year, always by myself
Don't have a trailer, so no trailering it
