“fore” - I scored a golf ball in the windscreen!

On my way to the dealer yesterday morning to have the lock on the trunk adjusted..road runs next to a golf course, and here comes a bouncing ball in my lane..can’t move over due to other traffic, so I slowed as much as I could..ball left a mark on the windshield but didn’t crack it..guy was on the other side of a hill trying to drive to a hole nearly 90 degrees from the road..only other golfer I saw was on the putting green-don’t think he putted a flyer..
Oh, lock fixed under warranty..

hehehe, When I was playing a lot of golf in Amarillo, a buddy and I were on a long par 4 that ran parallel to one of the city parks. I was about to tee off when he chimed in and said don't hook it too much or you'll hit that cop car going by. I said no way in #3!! Sure enough, I swung, hooked and hit that car right on top as it was driving by about 180 yards away. He hit his lights and siren for about two seconds, shut them off and kept on going. Guess he just wanted to acknowledge the contact. :2thumbs:
