• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

POSS.HELPFUL INFO. FOR TIRE WEAR/PROLONGING TIRE LIFE?

That is the biggest issue with the stock tires. In countless threads no one has been able to give a definitive tire pressure for wear throughout high and low speed use. Whether low or high pressure, it's going to egg in the center at high speed. Solution is to use stiffer car tire. The chalk...

    Any One Else?

2012 here with same problem after I installed bypass..Tight, no clamp issues or leaks. Only did it when it was cold. Did it for a few months. It's either gone away or I've gotten so used to it I don't notice it anymore.

    Manetic Drain Plug?

You can get magnetic plugs here: http://magneticdrainplug.com/motorcycle.html I believe the MP1 is for the sump and the 2 is for the reservoir. They have a lookup feature.

That is EXACTLY what I have also...It rides wonderfully---grips much better in curves, is smoother and I've seen no adverse affects in rain

    Questions about bump skid install.

Did mine on ramps also..Good mod, fairly easy install. Like everyone has said, a couple of the screws are stubborn but not hard to figure out once you're under there.

    QUESTION?

Here's another option for you. More expensive than gutting your Cat but a lot easier. I've got about 10,000 miles since removing catalytic converter with no issues. Better tone, slight mileage improvement and less heat for sure. http://www.spyder1attitude.com/cat-bypass.html

    Trailering a 2012 rt limited?

I use the Aluma 6810..68 is the width in inches and 10 is the feet of length. The Spyder is something like 61.5 inches at it widest point. Some people have actually used the 6310 model but that is just too tight for me to comfortably ride up the ramp...

    Trade Up??

This is one of those discussions where both sides are mostly correct. 2 factors are used in this type of purchase or upgrade..Logic and Emotion. On initially purchasing a Spyder, IMO, it's mostly emotion. That kind of scratch can be used in quite a few ways (2, 3 or 4 wheels) which will get us...

TELL ME AGAIN ABOUT GLOBAL WARMING ???

Trying to discuss "facts" that are slanted and spun to support either contention will get you nowhere. This is simply another divisive political stance to support income redistribution while lining political pockets. Those that are running the carbon scheme get to set up their own stock market...

    Just in...

Looked up pricing, all I could find is C&S selling these on ebay for $395. Having purchased various sets of quality aluminum adapters in past, this seems to be awfully high. They don't give adapter width but based on the pics showing lug vs width, these appear quite wide requiring rim choices...

    AIR IN REAR SHOCK

Sounds like you have the base model RT which simply has a rear airbag with schraeder valve under the seat. (The base model has no analog gauges above the front speakers) Other RT models have an auto inflation/deflation system and are a bit more complex to troubleshoot. If you're checking using...

    Front tire swap affect alignment?

Follow Up Finally got my RT over to Rolo in Edgewater for a redo on the alignment. After my swap to 185/60/14s in the front I had noticed more straight line instability. Turns out my alignment was almost dead on. This was after 6 different adjustments I had made with my homemade measuring...
