• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Dealers near portland

SK's service department wouldn't know their head from a hole in the ground. EVERY issue I ever had with my 2010 RT-S, when taken to SK for service or repair, was blamed on "user error"!!! The even blamed a throttle module failure (that was later recalled) on the fact that I washed the Spyder...

    PATRIOT GUARD FLAG HOLDER

I was the first to get my Patriot Guard Flag Holder from Seal Creative Concepts. John Anderson let me be the 1st to get one a couple of days ago with the understanding that I would keep my mouth shut until today. Man! That was tough to do!!!:yikes::pray: I LOVE THEM!:yes::yes...

    First RT Ride

Great suggestion! I have a 2012 RT Limited that I took possession of 17 months ago and now have almost 23,000 absolutely trouble-free miles on it. If you don't go for the 2014 RT, seriously consider the 2012 RT Limited.

Len from Pitbull Powersports did some cool videos on the RT

I feel your pain, Brother! When the new models hit the showroom floors, my wife and I will be there with my 2012 RT Limited and her 2013 ST Limited saying "Let's talk some serious turkey!" I wasn't all that impressed with simply an increase in engine displacement....but all the other things...

    OK SPYDERS RIDERS

Believe it or not, that was my 2010 RT-S and RT-622 trailer (that I no longer have - I "upgraded"). Portlandia placed an ad on Craig's list for a Spyder and trailer and my friend, Dan Straight, let me know about it......and the rest is history! Yep - that's my Spydee!!! Michael 2012 Spyder...

    ST Limited Windshield Suggestions

A week ago, my wife traded in her 2010 RT-AC for a 2013 ST Limited and misses her larger windshield. We'd appreciate any suggestions or leads for a good "larger" windshield for the ST. Thanks for the leads!

    Dealer Profit ???

I totally agree - - the dealer that's only 6 miles away sucks (sales AND service) and the dealer in Longview ROCKS!!! The dealer in Portland's service department doesn't know its head from a hole in the ground and will "bait and switch" to get you to buy. The dealer in Longview - Pro Caliber...

I'll second that.....I'm a wallflower member of BTW and ride a 2012 RT Limited. There's actually a picture of a Spyder on the cover of the latest BTW magazine.

    Wing to Spyder RT

:congrats: and welcome to our family, from one ex-Winger to another! You'll LOVE your Limited. Back on April 28th, I got into my second RT, a 2012 Lava Bronze Limited, and have put just under 10,000 miles on it so far. Enjoy, my friend!!!

    poor fuel milage

Now that I've gotten almost 10K on my RT, my mileage is on the upswing. The past three or four fill-ups, I've averaged right around 33mpg.

I would like to some one with an RT with ELKA shocks

I totally agree, my friend. I had a 2010 RT-S, got rid of it because of the buggy computer and lack of qualified service department at SK NW....but eventually got back into another Spyder four months (and 8,800 miles) ago. I IMMEDIATELY noticed a huge difference in the way the 2012 Limited...

    2012 Spyder Limited-New or Used?

I totally agree. #1 Lava Bronze (w/tan saddle) is the ONLY way to go. #2 New or used, you can't go wrong. I bought my 2012 Lava Bronze RT Limited on April 28th and am closing in on 6,000 miles. Runs like a friggin' top - - it has NONE of the problems I had with my 2010 RT-S. Glad to see...

Anyone going to SITR this year?

Just got off the phone following a 50-minute conversation with SpyderGirl and the Spyders In The Redwoods should be awesome this year (p.s. it was fantastic last year, as well!!!). With close to 150 registrants it should be an absolute blast. :2excited::yes::ohyea: Kathy and I are really...

    New Artwork on Frunk

Wife says "Thanks alot!" Just got this tatto on Thursday based on your frunk's artwork. The story behind it is: I traded in my Suzuki M109R for my new 2012 Spyder RT Limited.....hence - the Spider attacking and devouring the Suzuki (logo). :spyder: Being that the tat's not even 24 hours...

    "Nice Snowmobile buddy"!

Tripod thingie..... At last month's Rose City Motorcycle Club's monthly breakfast, I was coming out to get something out of the frunk when a bystander asked if "That was my "tripod thingie"?" :wrong: Couldn't answer him 'cause I was laughing too hard! :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:
