• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Riding gloves question

In the event of a dismount you may be sliding for a bit, friction is going to come into play. In addition to what the others have said the hard shell components help there as well.

    Dryer venting issues

Monk, Home Depot (and many others) sells an in-line 4" valve to prevent outside air coming in. How about placing it in-line just beyond your dryer but before the Y. When the other units dryer turns on the valve should prevent that air from coming your way.

    Cold weather gear discussion

It is physics that heat moves to cold. This is accelerated with cold air flowing around your warm body and pulling the heat away. Cut the wind factor down and you'll stay warmer longer. In my early days I took a section of newspaper and lined my jacket at my chest and my pants in front of my...
