• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Were You in the Group of Spyders on US-20 in Central Massachusetts June 11th?

Was waiting to cross US-20 in Charlton today and saw a group (8-10?) of Spyders motoring east on 20. We all waved/honked at each other. If you were part of it, I'd be interested to know more about your group. Looked like you were having a good time riding together.

Who Out There Has Gotten The Replacement Sprocket?

Thanks Peter. Great answer. That's what I was thinking, but didn't want to make a wasted trip if white was final.

Who Out There Has Gotten The Replacement Sprocket?

Trying to figure out if the replacement sprocket I had put on last fall is the final fix or the interim fix. The original sprocket failed at 14,000 miles on my '19 F3. Dealer replaced it with the white sprocket, P/N 705503244. Manufacture date 2/21. I saw the Shawn Smoak video with the gray...

Back and neck pain after Ultimate seat - anyone else? Fix?

I have an ultimate seat on my F3. I love it but it didn't eliminate the neck/shoulder pain. That was solved by purchasing (directly from CanAm) and installing Short Reach handlebars. Pain is gone. If that hadn't worked, my next step would have been the more expensive Heli-Bars.

How are the BRP emblems attached? Easy to remove?

I used a hair dryer and gently peeled it from the F3 trunk. I had a BMW emblem from my last bike that fit perfectly where the ugly BRP emblem had been. It's fun to watch people look at the BMW emblem then ask "I didn't know the BMW makes a 3-wheeler?"

After Bike to Bike and Rider to Passenger comms recommendations?

I've been using Sena products (now on my third generation) for years with my motorcycle riding group. We agree that the latest MESH technology that Sena uses, in their 50S/50R and higher models, is the best yet. Easy to connect to other users, great sound, and greater distance between riders...

How good are IPS Fog Lights - INSANE!!!

I installed the Lamonster IPS light kit on my Spyder F3 last year. The Spyder already has knockouts where the lights get mounted and a spare wire harness for customer-installed electronics. The installation of the light kit was easy and the quality of the kit that Lamonster provides is...

Snapped the magnetic oil drain plug!

That's great info. I'll get them ordered pronto and have the dealer install them in place of the cheap OEM plugs. Thanks!

Snapped the magnetic oil drain plug!

Thanks. The plug that came with the bike. I've been reading about Gold Plugs on this forum now that I snapped that OEM plug.

Snapped the magnetic oil drain plug!

2019 F3T, 1330 engine. And it was going so well........ Had all the oil drained and safely off to the side. Not too much of a mess. Put on the new gaskets and o-rings. Installed the new oil filter and then went to re-install the 6 mm drain plug. Over-torqued it and snapped the head...

Where to get the best price Extended Warranty for Spyder F3?

Another vote for iMotorsports and $671 for three years. Process from beginning to end was quick and efficient.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I installed the Ultimate Seat on my 2019 F3L a year ago. Since then, I've been trading the Mustang seat backrest that's on my Honda Shadow between the Shadow and the Spider since then, depending on which bike I'm riding. Fits both perfectly. This week I finally got and installed the...

    Signal Strength of Sena 50S?

Battery life is poor - especially if multi-tasking (e.g. music and mesh comms). But they recharge very quickly - like in 30 minutes. I keep a portable battery charger pack in my jacket with a long USB-C cord connected from it to the Sena on all-day rides. I would say that battery life...

    Signal Strength of Sena 50S?

I just upgraded a few weeks ago from the 20S EVO to 50S and a couple of years before that from SMH10 to 20S EVO. With the 50S, communications between riders is vastly improved because it uses Mesh technology. I can't speak to its effectiveness for just two riders. I use it in a group where...

    Communication Devices which works best

First of all, forget the BRP connect. It's useless. I've been using Sena for several years. The mesh technology (30, 50 series) works well with several other riders. Our group has standardized on Sena. I have my cell phone mounted to the handlebar (RAM system) and use Scenic for...

Installed Helibars on my 2020 RTL!

I wanted to try the Short Reach bars from CanAm before investing in the Helibars. I was also hesitant because of all the micro (yet beneficial) adjustments that need to be made with the Helibars. In my case at least, they (Short Reach) have eliminated the neck and shoulder pain that I had...

Handlebar Cable Clips screws - Torx size?

I'm finishing up changing out the stock handlebars ('19 F3-L) to the "short reach". Everything went mostly well, except needing a heat gun to let me loosen one of the four M7 bolts. Those CanAm guys love their Loktite. The handlebar kit comes with the cable clips not already attached. So I...

F4 Windshield - need honest opinions re shorter height screen reducing buffetting?

Bought the 23" for my '18 F3-L and wish I had gotten the 25. I watched the F4 videos countless times before selecting. The wind noise is noticeable. I'm 5-11. If I duck my head just an inch, it (noise) goes away. I was worried that I would bake with no air behind a taller screen. Still...

Is there a way to create a route using Google Maps withOUT waypoints?

As a ride leader, I've tried many mapping softwares over the last few years. Not only do I want to be be able to use the multi-point route map for myself, but also to be able to easily share it with the ride sweep(s). That means using something that offers an exportable GPX file that can then...

    Spyder Sightings

I was leading a pack of 8 bikes today, Oct.3, including two Spyders, on Rt. 47 in Hadley. MA. Heading northbound toward us was a pack of 5-6 Spyders. Just Spyders. Probably won't see that again but I'd like to join that group!
