• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    2019 RTL won't shift up (fixed'ish - only now it's un-fixed again!)

Had the same problem. I took the whole left assembly apart, saw that the shifter was missing a little ball bearing where it swivels, the height of the contact points were compromised so the shift thumb did not push directly on the microswitches; I made a ball bearing fit, underneath, and it's...

Cardo Custom Subscription Plan, good or bad idea?

Welcome to the digital world! BMW has also the same plan; they want you to pay for heated seats/steering wheel & also for updates to the built-in nav system; that's a disaster waiting to happen... Look at Tesla, where drivers/owners need to pay for the self-driving options. I am a firm believer...

Is Blue Ridge or Route 129 w/screen h/ware available separately?

Methinks you have to go to a Spyder Salvage Yard, as those components you seek are not available via BRP, maybe via Ebay.

Anyone else a loner and not a group rider?

I ride both ways. Solo, love it; with my spouse, love it; in a Group, love it; it all depends on how the hat is hanging. I just enjoy the ride itself; in a group, I prefer to ride front, and if someone else wants to ride up front, I'll usually ride as last rider. We have a nice group of just...

What's the Best Sounding Exhaust for my RTL?

I have an F3, with stock exhaust, and RLS cat delete, after struggling with the same issue as the topicstarter, mucho trail and error, I found that this is the best combo. not too loud, but just the sound as I like it. Exhaustnotes are different for everyone, but for me this combo works. Don't...

Vredestein for front - what size do I need?

This is going to be "a who has the longest ....", for me cartyres just work better, easier cornering, straight stability vastly improves. moe grip on wet underground. Peter is absolutely right in his story, but we each are in title to have our own opinion. What works for me, doesn't have to work...

Vredestein for front - what size do I need?

I have Michelin's Cross-Climate's on the front, they work waaaaayyy better than the OEM Kenda's. It's all about how you drive the Spyder; I drive aggressively when I am one-up; less so with the spouse on the backseat - I get reminded now and then to behave by getting a tap on the helmet... Nanny...

    Google maps has failed me.

try Kurviger, it's specially for motorbikes/spyders, and has way too many features, but it will never ever sent you via Higways, it uses backroads, small roads. I use it for severall years now, and if I plan a roadtrip, and let kurviger do the math, the app brings me to streets I've never been...

Can an F3S use the same Rear 15" Rim on the 2015-21 F3S?

Just do not forget, to put your own sprocket, on te wheel, or you'll be surprised, by the many faultcodes you're gonna get... The rim fits, but there are a 2 kinds of sprockets on the rear wheel, and they cannot be changed.

Is there a way to get more punch off the line?

@dickb, I have both, Pedal Commander and specific for my riding needs, ECU tuning. I had the tuning before the Pedal Box, and the Pedal Box does make a difference. When you drive the Spyder without pedal box, you need to twist your wrist further than with the Pedal Box. 20% twist, is a further...
