• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How To adjust the floor boards on a 2019 F3 Limited

One thing I'll add - when I purchased a new brake rod, I went through the whole process, and made sure to purchase a new tube of blue threadlocker & reapplying it to all the old hardware during the install. Only after I was all done did I discover that the new brake rod also came with brand-new...

    Advice on an Aftermarket Warranty

First off, this is a service contract, not a warranty. You'll notice that nowhere on their paperwork or advertising do they refer to themselves as a warranty provider. That's because they aren't. Statistically speaking, more often than not, most service contract holders will end up spending...

    Free dealer oil changes?

An insider's perspective on free oil change/maintenance plans: There are two things the dealer is betting on when they sign you up for these. The first thing is they are betting that cost of the plan will exceed the cost of paying for the oil changes yourself. Typically, this is done by...

    Shop knowing better then me?

If that's the case, my guess what happened was an error on the service writer's part. The tech probably saw the work order, thought to himself, "No way am I gonna do that," then set the pressures normally. Then the tech either didn't write any notes, or the writer misread the notes and instead...

    Shop knowing better then me?

No, I mean, what *exactly* did it say? Normally, on a repair invoice, you'd see something like this: Or, it might have said this: Or, it might not mention the pressures at all, which would also be telling.

    Shop knowing better then me?

This. I would never let any vehicle leave my shop with pressures that low. Too much liability. I agree with PMK. The shop does know better than you do, in this case. If you want to run your tire at that pressure, I'd recommend setting the pressures yourself after any repair visits. One thing...

1330cc Spyder leaked all the oil out TWICE

I can't believe no one mentioned it sooner. Severe oil leaks can often be more difficult to diagnose than small ones, mainly because there's so much oil covering everything that finding the source of the leak can be difficult. That is what UV dye is for. OP, I'd ask your service advisor if...

Ram intake system by Treal performance

In case anyone was wondering like I was, here's what this intake looks like: Video from Treal's website: Finally, a link to their product page: https://www.trealperformance.com/utv/treal-performance-2019-2020-cam-am-ryker-rally900-ram-air-intake-system Personally, I think it looks goofy...

    Riders Advantage Warranty Price Question?

I'd recommend reading this post I wrote awhile back regarding extended warranties & service contracts, and the differences between the two. I'd say the BEST warranty is the better choice between the two, though personally I'd pick neither.

Car Sick vs Motorcycle Sick and 2 up

I have pretty terrible motion sickness, but usually only when I'm a passenger. When I'm driving though, I'm fine unless I'm really driving aggressively. If anything, being on my Spyder I get thrown around and feel G forces even more than I do in my car, but I haven't felt remotely sick yet. If...

    BEST Warranty

I don't think you read what I wrote, because everything you just said, I already addressed. But just to humor you... In your case, statistically speaking, you are in the minority. As a rule, people spend more money on warranties/service contracts than what the typical cost of repairs would be...

    BEST Warranty

Speaking from 10 years of experience in the car dealership/auto repair industry, some things to consider when purchasing extended warranties or service contracts (which I'll abbreviate as "ext. warranty" for convenience): Like insurance, an ext. warranty is akin to making a bet. You are making...

first oil change now or in the spring?

I'm assuming your odometer is at 1,500 miles, and it hasn't been 1,500 miles since your last oil change. From the 2019 Spyder F3 Owner's Manual, page 119: Below this text, there are a few spaces where the date & signature of the person/shop who did the inspection can be marked. I'd recommend...

Do still ride a motorcycle ??

I guess I'm somewhat in the minority here, based on the replies. I traded in my bike (an '09 Yamaha/Star 950) to get my F3, mainly because I just wasn't riding the bike anymore. Even after 6,000 miles, I just never felt confident riding the bike, especially at low speeds. My balance is just...

    900 Ryker Loose Front Wheel

When researching Can-Ams, I did hear rumors on one or two YouTube reviews of Rykers that the wheels coming loose was not an uncommon issue. I think mainly owing to the one-lug wheel design. I could definitely see a new owner or two not heeding the maintenance schedule & skipping the retorquing...

    Interesting backstory on BRP

Love all of FortNine's videos. Their two Spyder videos were the most informative F3-related content I found on YouTube, and were a big part in shifting my interest from the Ryker to the F3. Their production values are also top-notch. Here's a link to the channel...

    Debadging an F3

Why on earth would you ask that question?

    Debadging an F3

Considering debadging my '19 F3. I have done so on a couple of my cars in the past. Usually, as long as the badging is just held on with adhesive, careful application with a heat gun, some dental floss, and a bit of patience gets most badges off pretty easily. The "Spyder F3" stickers on the...

    Are Spyder sales Declining Fast?

The dealership I bought my '19 F3 from had a few Rykers, but my F3 was the last '19 they had. Like others have said, I attribute that to changing seasons and them gearing up for what sells for them in the Fall.
