• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Recall done. Not sure they put the right sprocket on.

Wow. What a detailed response. Thank you so much. It does sound exactly like this is what happened. I will check all that. Unfortunately, my Spyder is stored for winter so that will be a task for Spring, probably April or May. Cheers mate!

Recall done. Not sure they put the right sprocket on.

This could be a silly question but is this the second recall on the sprocket. Presumably mine was done last year but I received a recall notice from BRP just recently. I can't remember whether I had mine done before I received a first letter but now I have this first or second letter. The...

    No Competition for Can Am

It's true there's no competition for trikes but it's obviously not a huge market. If it was, other players would get in. In some way they are their own competition and their main focus should be to stay in business. Which they have done but the trikes business is still young and considering...

Any info on Stinger Trailers? How dependable are they?

I don't know about the Stinger but when I needed a trailer for my Spyder I decided to go for an Apogee trailer. They are folding as well, made in aluminium, light weight. I figured the advantage over the Stinger is their versatility. They can be used as regular trailer to carry stuff: dump...

Anyone heard any Rumors on 2024 Spyders, All models?

No a rumor but a wish. I would like Apple CarPlay and central locking with keyless start on the RT.

Anyone heard any Rumors on 2024 Spyders, All models?

I think for many an EV bike is something you charge at home overnight and go for local rides within the battery range. That is why starting with the Ryker may make sense.

Spyder enjoyment vs. experience of ownership

Thanks for the posts. I too am hoping no major failures. I don't see myself on a HD trike. I think my next step would be a small convertible like the Mazda MX5.

Spyder enjoyment vs. experience of ownership

Hello Spyder Lovers, Something has been nagging me over the past year. I don't ride that much but each time I do, I enjoy my Spyder. However, getting service from BRP dealers is frustrating. I live in a small town with a number of dealers within one to four hours. The closest is mostly into...

Do I need to do any more about last year's pulley recall on my F3?

Last year I received a letter from BRP in regards to the pulley recall for the F3. I have a 2018 F3L. At the moment I contacted my dealer and he told me no parts were available yet but there was a procedure to check if everything was functional and safe to ride. I took it for a check and...

Anyone else a loner and not a group rider?

I enjoy the camaraderie at stops or end of day but I prefer to ride alone otherwise because I usually don't go faster than speed limit and I don't want to slow down anyone or try to catch up with speedy Gonzales.

Too old? Trying to be realiistic.

Go for it. I switched to 3 at 64. The physical aspect of riding a Y is not the same as 2 but the fun and enjoyment factor is the same, if not better as you feel and are safer. If you can afford it, do it. I tend to buy the latest thing so my recommendation is to go with what your finances...

Zumo 660 too old to update? Help?!

I've had issues with some units before and I was able to do the update by swapping cables. I guess I am saying try different cables.

New Ownership At F4 Customs Inc.

Congrats. I have an F4 on my F3LTD and very happy with it. Best windshield I ever had on any bike. I sold my company Jan 1, 2021 and never looked back. Aside from pandemic hell, retired life is good. Enjoy yours. J

Too cold for me and my Spyder

I am in Ontario, Canada. My F3L is parked in the garage for the winter. I wouldn't dare ride even if I could endure the cold due to the salt and sand they put on the roads over the winter months. Don't you have that in KS, MN, WY, NJ, MI, OH, etc. How do you address this issue. Wash the...

What's the one thing you think is Useless Junk on your Spyder?

External speakers. Bluetooth helmet speakers only. Nobody wants to know I still listen to Pink Floyd and Genesis. BRP Connect. Just give us Apple Carplay or Android Auto already. Otherwise my 2018 F3L is almost perfect stock if you don't mention the windshield.

    Erratic shifting problem

I have a 2018 F3 LTD. At my first service since new, I had shifting issues and asked the tech to look at it. At first he was surprised because he hadn't seen that before but after a bit of research he found a technical bulletin from BRP. The whole left handlebar unit was replaced under...

    BRP Connect Survey

They should get rid of BRP Connect and implement Apple Carplay and Android Auto and be done with it. I rarely use it but I didn't get the survey!
