• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Oil leak or gravity?

An old post of mine but what caused the oil "leak" was in fact a slightly overfilled oil level and a worn sealant gasket on the dipstick. My dealer did the oil change and corrected the mistake and in nearly two years since then I have had no other issues.

    Gotta love California....🏁🏁

To get a noise violation ticket issued in NYC I needed a certified public official conduct a meter "reading". I needed this for both motor vehicles and out of control private parties. I was able to do this ZERO amount of times in my 20 years because a certified meter and reader were never...

    Helmet-mounted 3rd brake light

Gimmicky at best. Considering the tiny percent of MC accidents are rear-end collisions this product seems pointless. Considering most accidents occur during daylight hours this adds yet another argument to being even more pointless. If I plan on riding at night I ride with a reflector vest, its...

    Rear tire (automotive) pressure?

They are but not by much otherwise tire manufacturers would just have everyone adjust pressure accordingly. Tread density is what saves the day.

    Rear tire (automotive) pressure?

Even more exciting is people who think PSI and traction are the same thing.

    Rear tire (automotive) pressure?

Since you put an untested unrated tire on your Spyder you need to do tests yourself. 1. Load your bike as if you are going to ride it. 2. overinflate your tire and slowly release air until all the tread makes contact. (note the pressure)(you need to eyeball it with your head on the ground) 3...

    External Battery Jump Port

You should have known your front sprocket might could possibly maybe have failed.:banghead: You should have been prepared carrying with you an extra front sprocket, sockets, wrenches, a car jack and flashlight.:lecturef_smilie:

    External Battery Jump Port

I agree. I've seen more harm done to electrical systems for machines that never ever needed a jump. If I ever needed a jump I'll just remove my trunk from my frunk, nice-n-easy jack a peezy. This removal takes about 2 minutes of my precious time and I'll never ground out or fry anything. I...

    External Battery Jump Port

Fear Mongering. In my 30+ years of riding nothing but roadside insurance, cell phones "when they were invented" and cash/credit cards have helped. I had a battery die when riding my 1980s Honda shadow. The battery had a circuit that fried and no jumping/pushing would have helped. I had my...

Are you thinking about SHAD bags?

Thank you. Just being truthful. Thank you.

Are you thinking about SHAD bags?

Maybe but its best to hear true opinions before you spend big bucks only to find out your bike looks like an afterthought. They are probably VERY practical but all my friends agree they don't look OEM and more like carelessness. Functionality AND looks are what I strive for.

Do you have a helmet on yourl Christmas list?

I do what you do....with prior experience you know what you are buying so buying online is risk free.

Are you thinking about SHAD bags?

No I wasn't thinking about SHAD bags but thanks for asking. They're just too damn fugly. Why not just bolt on used luggage from the Salvation Army?

    Nice Christmas Present.

Does it come with an SE6 or an idler or maybe beach Barbie sitting on it?

Do you have a helmet on yourl Christmas list?

Not in a million years and your credit card would I ever buy an unknown helmet (or clothing) online. I'm sick and tired of either misleading advertising, poor fit and lousy customer service. I need to try something on in a store and if they don't have my color then I'll consider an online...

    Do you carry a charger?

I was thinking the same thing. I carry my AAA insurance card, my cell and credit card.

Will shaft drive be coming to the 1330?

You cant be serious. You admit a shaft drive is more reliable then bash it for being complicated? I'm guessing if it works on other motorcycles, cars and tractors beautifully then it will work on a Spyder. If a belt can run smoother then why are we discussing a shaft drive or idlers or belt...

Will shaft drive be coming to the 1330?

I'm hoping the drive shaft comes to the F3 as I don't see a true fix for the long belt vibrating issue.
  19. R

Will shaft drive be coming to the 1330?

"felt vibration" is too argumentative or opinionated to discuss. All I can say is that the vibration I do feel is comparable to my Suzuki Intruder 1400 (my worst vibrating bike) (My Harley "shook" but only while idling). I have test ridden many other F3s and the "felt Vibration" was the same...

Will shaft drive be coming to the 1330?

The #1 reason I'm "probably" not going to buy another Spyder is because of the belt vibration. The idler has reduced belt vibration but only to bearable levels. I tell people the F3 is NOT a smooth riding machine and always feel like I'm going much faster then my actual speed.
