• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    You know.... I have checked my oil level when it has been cold and when it has been hot..... It has always been within being 1/10th of a inch on the dipstick either way..... I'll just keep checking it when it is cold...... would not want to run the engine for that many miles and it be low....So...

    Used nylon locking nut and it has never got lose in 2000 miles.... but it is one bolt on and one bolt off.... Like I said the pressure of your foot keeps the pressure of the plate on the foot board not on the plastic wing....

    Did this on my SE6... Don't sell them... but 2 1/4 inch bolts and about 8.00 worth of plate.... you can make them... drill one hole and bend the plate.... simple... Took a piece of cardboard.... made a pattern that I liked.... trim and cut the cardboard to the shape you like then trace it to...

    Made out of Aluminium ... held on with one stainless bolt.... bent at a angle that when you put your foot on it puts pressure on the floorboard and not the plastic wing. Nut is hidden inside the plastic wing.

    They call it a housing I think (dumb name)... it is held on by 2 screws and can be held on with 3 screws... but mine only had 2 screws. I noticed yours was missing in the pic of your modification. Sorry it is not missing... it is in the lower right . but it does not look it is held on by screws...

    Washer might not be the right word but it is the plastic disc at the top that attaches to the top stud. That is what I make out of stainless.... looks like a big washer with a grove in it.... part # 219800158 is what I replaced...

    I just made a new metal washer and replaced the cheap plastic one.... Won't have any problem again of it breaking....Took about 30 min. to machine them out of stainless steel.... so I made 2 of them.... one for each side...
