• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can Am Reducing MSRP Across The Board

Lower Priced SpydersThe “price repositioning” (as Can-Am calls it) of the Spyder lineup correlates to what the company says is a massive demand for their trikes in the used vehicle space. A whopping 63% of Spyders sold last year were used, prompting the company reevaluate their current pricing...

Yes, I am referring to other comments in reference to the reason for a motorcycle that leans and has 2 wheels up front.

    For All You Niken Haters

Sorry to burst your bubble but the best, most skilled Spyder rider in the world could not beat the Niken on any road course providing the Niken rider was of equal skill and providing both machines were stock.

    For All You Niken Haters

I am sincere when I say I WAS seriously considering getting one as soon as they hit the showroom. However during a recent visit to the local Yamaha/Can Am dealership a 2017 Yamaha FZ-10 caught my eye. It had been on the showroom floor for a few months and the dealer was willing to make a good...

The 3 wheeled cycle market just got more interesting

Whether one likes the appearance or not is a subjective thing. However something that is not subjective is reliability and performance. The Yamaha Niken is based on the FJ-09 (for 2019 it is called the Tracer 900), one of Yamaha's best machines and one that will run rings around a Spyder and...

    Honda Goldwing Spyder.

I agree. If Honda builds a reverse trike based on the Goldwing it will only be a matter of time before Can Am closes the door on it's Spyder operation.

    2018 Yamaha Nikon three wheeler

I could call fake news but I will give you the benefit of a doubt and say it is simply a case of you personally having a bad experience. Yamaha has been proven to be the most reliable motorcycle in the world. I have owned several Yamaha's and have been pleased with all of them. As to your...

Interesting Article on Motorcycle Sales in US

You nailed it. Overall motorcycle sales are in a bit of a slump but it is more of a recession and not a depression, to use financial terms. The market will come back. BMW and Ducati are both increasing the number of units sold. The problem is Harley Davidson. They waited much too long to...

    Leaning 3 Wheeler

Bingo! BRP did away with the only sporty machine in their line up - the RS. That and the very questionable reliability of the Spyder is what caused me to trade my RT for a Yamaha FJ-09.

    Leaning 3 Wheeler

Why do you say that? Is it because you would tip over on a 2 wheel machine? Is that why you ride a Spyder? Nothing wrong with that but it is no reason to put down a more reliable machine that requires more from the rider. David

    YAMAHA - 3

    And the F3 is?

    YAMAHA - 3

Wrong. It is for the most part an FJ-09 from the gas tank back. It has the same exact 115 hp inline triple as several other Yamaha's to include both the FJ-09 and the FZ-09. I currently ride an FJ-09 and I will be one of the first to buy a Niken if it comes to the U.S. I live 30 minutes from...

    YAMAHA - 3

Exactly! It will be more stable than a two wheeler with better braking but yet handle like a two wheeler. It will as quick as most sport tourers in the twisties and a WHOLE lot quicker than a Spyder - any Spyder. And just remember this: It is a Yamaha, proven to be the most reliable make out...

    Help..... P0550 error

Computer Codes Can Am has had more than 10 years to get this worked out. A brand new Spyder and it gets codes off the showroom floor? The dealership doesn't have a clue? Give me a freaking break! I have owned 2 Spyders and this is an example of why I traded them. I now ride a Yamaha FJ-09...

How many of us are still riding two wheel motorcyles?

I am riding a 2015 Yamaha FJ-09. Traded the Spyder RT for it and have never looked back. I had the Spyder because the wife said she would go 2 up only on a Spyder. After a while she was riding less and less and for me alone on the Spyder it was no fun and combine that with the fact that I got...
