• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Stock F3 Rear Shock The stock rear shock probably bottoms out with your weight! The factory heavy duty might work for you and the wife. [ my mech and I stood on the pegs and jumped up and down and could not make the replacement bottom out.]

    I had my dealer replace my rear shock with the BRP "2 up" shock. Item 1, I have never in more than 50 bikes replaced a shock -- not less in less than 2000 miles! Item 2, this is the shock the bike should have come with! Item 3, I could not justify the after market price for replacement...

    Shad luggage for the F3

    SHAD Bags & Top Box I have both the SHAD saddlebags and top box on my F3 ST [I know, they don't make one, so I did]. The saddlebags and top box will hold one or maybe two full face helmets [what would one do with six?]. They are sturdy and well built. :)

    CALSCI Indorcement I came from the RTS family as well. I tried the Calsci MH/WD shield and found I still got some buffeting. I changed to their HI/WD shield and love it. I think ex-RT folks will as well and at a much better price.

    SHAD Bike luggage

    Have SHAD on my F3 S I mounted a set on my 2008 GS and have now installed them on my 2015 F3 S. Nice, sturdy set up. Just went to Bike Week and they did very well. I made a Walmart stop with my traveling gear and pretty much filled them up! The bike handled great and rode great.

    SHAD Saddlebags I am quite happy with my SHAD bags. Both saddlebags and top box will hold full face helmets. They remove quickly and the handle makes them just like a suit case to carry.
