• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

If anyone has seen Disney's 'Turbo' movie (I have young kids!), I can't help but think of "Dos Bros Tacos" every time I see a TB exhaust, lol!!

    2014 RT-S MPG Report for Texas (V2.0)

I should clarify, being a base RT I'm running the standard gauge in the MFD (Multi function display) not the Auxiliary gauges. I'm not too worried about economy at the moment, just trying to get it run in and hoping the economy improves a bit over the break in. Last tank was worse just now at...

    2014 RT-S MPG Report for Texas (V2.0)

I'm on my third tank of fuel, trike has done about 300 miles. I've been filling up when there are 3-4 bars left on the fuel gauge, how accurate is that? At what point do you guys think of filling up? My first tank was 119miles with 2 bars left on the dash (20 litres went in). Next fill up 100...

Just ordered a 14' RT SM6 in White

Congratulations. I was tempted with a manual and was going to use the purchase difference to fit a handbrake but ended up with the SE. Would love to know how you get on. I'm sure you'll be thrilled with it. Nito

    Exhausted

I'm liking the look of the Yoshimura carbon can but can't see one listed for the '14 triple yet. The Akra is dissappointing cosmetically for me, especially for the price , having a twin outlet on a triple is plain lazy, no excuse for poor attention to detail, just looks wrong!

    RT graphic kits

Hello all you knowledgeable folk. My wife is considering a graphic kit. Someone told me that the 2014 body panels are wider to accommodate the wider triple engine over previous years. Looking at older Spyders it looks the same to me with the only difference being the refined fenders on the new...

    first 114 mile ride

we've covered about 150 miles on ours, our engines and trannies feel really tight. The first bit of our break in was on motorways which isn't the best start (yes we did vary the revs/speed etc) but they don't feel anywhere near as good as the demo, with a horrible drive through vibration between...

Which to buy rt or rts? Do

It's a fair point Maxson, I only ride solo or with my young son on the back, if I was swapping between solo and full size pillion the air compressor kit would be a useful feature, albeit one that can be retro fitted to an RT for £500, so unless you want the rest of the RTS kit, you could still...

Thanks Bob, to answer your earlier question, our main beam is where your foglights normally are, and the full beam/flash lights are in the cowl. Kind regards Nito

It is indeed the base model, however the lights on all of ours are the same. No foglamps on any UK models, something to do with homologation, we have high or low in the cowl and the opposite down there where the fogs are on yours from my understanding. I was under the impression the base model...

    Decoding the Chassis number

Hi Oj, Hopefully we'll be collecting ours from GS Jettech on Friday or Saturday. Were you at Hastings? I introduced myself to Den and one of the others there on the day. No doubt we'll bump into you somewhere soon enough! cheers Nito

    Decoding the Chassis number

Billy, Many thanks for that, so I guess it's a random number generated so people can't fraudulently copy/clone/tamper guess a chassis number sequentially as they wouldn't know what the check number is or something? Or not, either way I have no idea what it is but glad it's not related to the...

    Decoding the Chassis number

Hello everyone, Hope someone can shed some light on what the Vin codes mean. My wife and I have bought a Spyder each, taking delivery in a couple of days. We have been given the chassis numbers for our insurers. The last 6 digits refer to the production unit number. However, although our...

Thanks Dubld, loving your blue one. It's funny you called it blue thunder, I was thinking of an airwolf theme for mine, have a couple of ideas. You need a yellow 02 graphic on your panniers to complete the look!!

Good ideas Roger, they're at a good age to start getting involved with the planning of road trips. Thanks Barbara, congrats on your new purchase. I've picked a couple of bits up on ebay for the Spyder, having two in black we're going our seperate ways with farkles. My wife 'Janey' has recently...
