• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    GPS COVER

Anyone know where I can get a shield to go around my GPS to block the glare from the sun? I have seen some on a few bikes but don't know if they were self made or purchased. Thanks a bunch. Sent from my SM-P900 using Tapatalk

    New tire update

I just had an Arachnid rear tire put on my 2014 RTL. The tire was a 225/50 R15 HD. Supposedly this tire is made specifically for the RT. I got just shy of 10K miles on the original Kenda and I ride 2 up a lot and pull a RT 622 Trailer a few times a year on trips. The original mileage was pretty...

    Shout out to Custom Dynamics

I had 3 of the LED Lights go bad on the red light on the left front fender for some unknown reason. Shot a note to Custom Dynamics customer service and they had a replacement light in the mail that day. Replaced it today and now back up and visible. Great customer service and quick response. If...

    Laser alignment warning

I purchased my 2014 RTL SE6 from a dealership about 30 to 40 minutes from me. Afterwards, I was told by several people that I would be unable to get decent service at this particular dealership because of its reputation. Well, I did have to take it in for warranty work, sometimes it was...

    Riding with spouse

Although my wife has her motorcycle endorsement she rather ride with me. Lately we have been discussing getting her a bike but the only stipulation I have is that it has to have the 1330 engine with a SE6 tranny. So that limits her choices to the F3 or a version of the RT. The dealership I...

    mufflers/power...

I replaced my OEM exhaust on my 2014 Limited SE6 with a twin Stainless Steel exhaust and a cat by-pass. Definitely made a difference in sound but I can't honestly say it made much difference in power or gas mileage. I ride 2 up most of the time and pull a RT 622 trailer when we travel on trips...

Problem with brakes or front wheels or ?? I need as much help as I can get

Just by listening to the first video it sounds like the brake rotor is warped. I have had it happen on a car before when going over a railroad track too fast and the track was in bad shape. I would suggest removing the brake assembly and spin the wheel. If the noise disappears obviously it is a...

My first trip with other Can-Am Spyders that was put on by BRP here in Mexico!

Don't care to be traveling that fast on a motorcycle. [emoji15]way!. I would be left behind and ride solo before trying that. Seen too many accidents when I was on the rescue squad. 75 to 80 I can live with on the freeway in good weather with riders I trust. That is about the limit for me. Sent...

    Riding in rain

My wife and I have pulled our 622 trailer on a few long trips and got into some rain on more than one occasion. Good rain gear is a must. There are lots of different brands out there but we chose Frog Thogs [sp] at the dealership's recommendation and it has been great. Just slow down a little...

    Route planning for GPS

I use "mapsource" to plan routes and transfer them to my Garmin. I purchased the lifetime map upgrades and the program works extremely well with any Garmin Product. I have it on my laptop and I'm using Windows 8.1 with no problems. I would recommend checking this out. If my memory serves me, the...

Plasti diped my bike... not sure if I like it...

I agree with Bob. The important thing is that you like it. At the end of the day, what others think is not important. Just my [emoji14]pinion.

    Newbie TOTALLY confused!

All the prior answers pretty much cover your question. One main difference between the SE and the Manual, there is no hand clutch to pull to let the bike coast while you shift down when approaching a stop. I road 2 wheelers all my life before this Spyder which has the SE6 transmission. Wouldn't...

    Challenger Hell Cat turns a 10 second 1/4 mile @ 140mph

I have a Camaro ZL1, 585 HP from the factory. I installed a cold air intake which kicked it up to 611 according to the dyno. I need to take it to the strip and see what it will turn. Thanks, Steve Sent from my Galaxy Note Pro 12.2
