• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Challenger Hell Cat turns a 10 second 1/4 mile @ 140mph

:shocked: Is it too late to trade yours in? :dontknow:

:bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown: 707 horsepower!

It's never to late, just not very cost effective. Also, as much as I drool over that beast, it just isn't practical.

must be some retro fit stuff you can add...maybe some Nike's....:roflblack:
Mine isn't stock but it's nowhere near a hellcat. Hell it isn't even close to an SRT. I'm just a little north of 400 horses.

fastest car i ever had was a 68 GTO with a 4 speed and 390 rear. i did a lot of work to it and one day took it to the track. right b4 i got in line i adjusted the timing for some strange reason and i turned an embarrassing 19 seconds

ENGLISH town 1969 in a 68' AMX :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:
I got lapped
:yikes::yikes:

One of the most FUN cars I ever owned: a 1979 Ford Fiesta!
Sixty-Six rompin' stompin' ponies! (They weren't even real horsepower! :opps:)
But... I never had to lift off the throttle... :D

You're certainly old-enough to know what you REALLY want...
If it was me; I'd probably go for it!
(But I'm not the sharpest pencil in the box, and have too many vendettas to settle with horsepower!:roflblack:)

Not sure I see what the big deal is. The Hellcat in question was modified, not stock. Lots of modified cars running that or faster...

STOCK Hellcats run mid to low 11s. They simply cannot get that 707 to the ground.

Here is a BONE STOCK Z06 running a 10.42. That is impressive. Right off the showroom floor a 10 sec car:

:shocked: :clap: :2thumbs:
Getting it to the ground, has always been the tough part of this game. :thumbup:

How well does your GT launch?

I have a Camaro ZL1, 585 HP from the factory. I installed a cold air intake which kicked it up to 611 according to the dyno. I need to take it to the strip and see what it will turn.

Thanks,
Steve

I like those hellcats, but I expected more with a 700 hp car. My nephew has a 2013 GT500 with 662 hp. It is able to get into the upper 10's easily with drag radials and some good driving. Heck, I was able to granny shift my 435 hp 03 cobra convertible and get into the 11's.

The GT did not launch that well with me driving.....No driver aids at all. GT clutches are expensive so I never spent much time practicing launch technique on a 300k car.

I no longer own the GT. Now drive a 2015 Corvette Z07. Did well on the value of the GT but parts and insurance costs have skyrocketed and I found myself making excuses rather than driving it. I do not keep garage queens. Was time to move on. I miss the car, but the Vette is lots more fun even if its not the rock star.
