• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Wiring colours Thanks Scotty. I'll be back under the tupperware tonight splicing my GPS wiring into that circuit. Cheers; Pogo.

    12V Outlet

D'oh! Thanks for that Rod. I went hunting and found (as should have been obvious) that the power socket wiring is on the back of the power socket. Sigh...:opps: I want to pick up that switched circuit and hardwire my GPS. I've poked around the fuse block and I think that I have identified...

BBQ test rack Do you suppose that the recent spate of fires could have been disguised tests of the BBQ feature? :roflblack: Cheers; Pogo

    Sticking parking brake release fixed.

My invoice for my 5000km service says that they replaced the parking brake plate. The mechanic said that it was a recommended upgrade. It made a great difference. Cheers; Pogo.

    12V Outlet

Inside the control arm? I went looking tonight for a connector so I can wire in my GPS. I had the tupperware off and was poking around the fuse box area. Couldn't find a spare connector.:gaah: I read in this thread that the spare connector is zip tied inside the control arm on the left side...

    Simple Floorboards

Pics please? Hi Chris. I'm just getting used to my Spyder. I'm right AKA and I'm looking for a way to keep my right foot out of trouble on a ride. On my sidecars I can hook the heel of my right shoe on the rear footpeg and it stays pretty well put. On the Spyder, this rests the toe on the...

    Carrying Crutches

Easy and cheap I told Pilo I'd post some pics of my sticks on my Spyder. I am currently using ocky straps (bungee straps) to hold my sticks across the back of my Spyder. The hooks go onto the pannier frame. As you can see, the sticks are not much wider than the panniers. The Spyder is 1500mm...

Head lights fit in fog light space

Different down under I have no idea why it is like that either, but that's the way it is. :dontknow: I'll be adjusting mine tonight because they are aimed a bit high (I can see the top of the beam sweep down the back of the car in front as I approach) There should therefore be a BRP part that...

    SPYDERS FIRST TRIP

Running up the k's That sounds like a good use for the :f_spider:. I picked mine up in Geelong, about 1000km away, the weekend before last and rode it home. I'd had the brake moved to the left side so I can reach it (right leg A/K amp). The first day was about 300km to Albury, mostly freeway...

    Lamonster's water temp gauge

Corrosion? Hi Lamonster. I wondered if the reason that the radiator was floating electrically was to eliminate ground currents that sometimes cause corrosion. Have you had seen any signs of corrosion since grounding your radiator to get the temp gauge to work? Cheers; Pogo.

    Parking Brake

I'm A/K right. On my solo bike, I had a hassle getting the sidestand up and down. I welded a rod to the stand so that it lies beside the gearbox when the stand is up. I can reach the rod with my left hand and push the stand up or down. You might be able to make a similar lever for the park...
