• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2013 RT Elevated Temperature in Engine Compartment - Safety Campaign

Honestly this should solve the issues, at least I hope in reading a Yahoo News post the investigation has been closed, so I am sure NTHSA would not close this unless they felt the solution resolved all the outstanding and reported issues.

2013 RT Elevated Temperature in Engine Compartment - Safety Campaign

Hey Gang, Before we start down the rabbit hole of bad things, let's remember that Steve posted that the fix included, but not limited to reworking fuel components and body panels. So I am going to assume they maybe including the reverse fan that is discussed along with a few other components...

THANKS STEVE, that is what I had anticipate. It made the only logical sense. I actually like it and do not think it will detract from the look of the bike. Cool...

BRPCare: A Question Concerning the 2013 RT Recall That Every Owner Wants To Know

You know I figured today would have been the day long weekend. Time for people to absorb it and understand it but I was wrong. I think your guess of the 29th is probably right on the button.

BRPCare: A Question Concerning the 2013 RT Recall That Every Owner Wants To Know

Last day till the big recall unveil for 2013 RT's

Positive Spin Only 16 days left in the month... Being an owner of a 2013, it's not a matter of wanting more. It's a matter of wanting a vehicle that we spent IMHO a lot of money on to be trustworthy and solid. I don't want to have a fear of something going wrong when we are traveling across...

2013 Can-Am Spyder RT Safety Recall - Elevated Temperature in Engine Compartment

Thank You Steve@BRP Care... Thanks Steve at BRP Care, I appreciate you responding. I am not trying to act like a pain in the butt, just saying we are almost half way through and sharing with the owners would be a huge benefit to us. There is lots of speculation and I try not to buy into the...

2013 Can-Am Spyder RT Safety Recall - Elevated Temperature in Engine Compartment

I agree You know since it is May 11, 2015 it would be really nice to at least tell us the owners of the 2013 RT's what they are planning and maybe give us some photos of the changes so that we can start to alleviate our waiting dilemma's oh wait how much did we spend on these??? Instead of...

2013 Can-Am Spyder RT Safety Recall - Elevated Temperature in Engine Compartment

Concerning The information about signing a waiver and having a choice on a part or all of the fix is a little concerning to me. I am truly hoping one of the "fixes" is not re design of the body panels to make the 2013 look more like the F3 from the side. I guess like everyone else I will sit...

2013 Can-Am Spyder RT Safety Recall - Elevated Temperature in Engine Compartment

As an owner of a 2013 RT in California, I will be curious to see what the fix is going to be. Speculation is tough, but from reading the ODI website and all the associated documents, it seems like NHTSA is not looking at a band aid fix. If I read one of the letters right, they have to provide...
