• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Dash flashing Spyder

Yeah it shows Spyder and it is flashing but it stopped when I tightened the gas cap. I guess that was what it was for

    Dash flashing Spyder

I have about 4500 miles on my 14 RT SE6 with no problems till today. Not really sure if this is a problem. I searched the forums and looked in the book but nothing showed. Today after filling up and riding about 5 miles, on the dash the word Spyder started flashing. It would flash a few times...

    Rev Limit 2014

All of that information is amazing to me. Can't imagine taking my bike that fast now. But when I was younger it would have been so cool. I recently had what I think was belt slap. Had my 14 rt with the trailer and riding 2 up at 77-79 mph. It would go away when I would back off. Hadn't heard...

Spyder in the redwoods or sturgis

Wife and I are going to SITR. From The Dalles. Probably spend a night in Grants Pass and then on down to Blue Lake on one of the curvy roads off I-5 in California. Should be a blast. I waited to long for reservations at HCMR so probably will miss that one. Will still do at least one of the rides tho

New trailer on the road finally

2nd trip with the trailer. Got the trailer out for a second trip today. Another 200 mile plus with it and no problems. Tows like it isn't there. Still a little shaky on backing up with it but as long as I go slow no problem and it drags the mileage down about 8mpg. Amazing how much stuff can be...

    Is it me...

Hate to say it but it all sounds like a normal drive/ride to town anymore. Ya just hope they have their wreck with someone else

2nd fill up mpg 2014 rts

The 42 is what I usually get with about 4,000 miles riding one up and no trailer. With 2 up and the trailer behind it is about 34. The harley trikes I ride with get about 35 with one up and no trailer. So we are doing good.

New trailer on the road finally

I did kinda the same thing with rails inside and divided that into smaller compartments to keep things from sliding around and then put a cargo net over it. Seems to work well so far. First trip (short one I was so glad) the few things I had inside slid all over. Guess that's how we learn...

New trailer on the road finally

First ride with trailer Put over 200 miles on the trailer with 2 up riding. Dropped my mileage from about 42 to about 35 which is not bad but I have to admit that we were going a little slower than I normally ride. The trailer wasn't fully loaded but did have some clothes etc inside. This model...

New trailer on the road finally

Finally got the new USA trailer ready for the road and some better weather for a trial run today. Hardly even know it is back there except is very visible in the mirrors. Took a little practice for backing it up but it tracks very well. Only part I had to get separately was the plug for the...

    Oregon Dealers

I realize this is a little far for you but Pro Caliber in Vancouver, Wa has an excellent mechanic for Spyders. Shawn is also great to talk with. And you're right, it is all expensive. If you buy parts, etc, there you don't have to pay sales tax as an Oregon res but still have to on service...

    Tires

I have the same with my 14 RT. Always consistent.

    RT

My 14 RT SE6 handles very well at fwy speeds. We only have a 65mph limit in Oregon but have run mine at 80 on cruise several times on certain stretches and it handles very well. Would compare it to a small convertible.

    FOBO Bike TPMS system?

After seeing this post and then watching the thread for a couple of days I just had to order for my spyder. Looks like a great product. Right after I ordered it got an email from Bob Mulch making sure I ordered the color I wanted. Sounds like great customer service. Can't wait to get it on the...

Multiple Sclerosis SUCKS! But living life is awesome.

Nice to see the ms posts. My wife also has ms and loves to ride. I switched to the spyder last year so she could ride with me and she is enjoying it very much. Got a trailer for trips and looking forward to those. She has the progressive relapsing and rides on good days.

Looking for a wiring adapter for non BRP trailer

I had the same problem. Got the other end off eBay for about 7 bucks. Then wired that to a flat 4 wire that plugs into the trailer. Works great

    Stalling.......

I was dealing with 2 different guys, the service writer out front who didn't appear very credible and later with the mechanic whom I was impressed with. I got the feeling that the update may not have been installed prior. Had this done yesterday and have another 250 miles on it already and no...

    First Service/Great Mechanic

Just got my first service done in Vancouver at Pro Caliber. Rode down in the rain which was fun. With the rain gear and the way the spyder is shaped got very little rain on me. The whole process was supposed to take 6 hrs with the hitch being installed also but Shawn, the mechanic got it done in...
