• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder in the redwoods or sturgis

That is funny. We both are leaving on Monday. You get to go on down to sitr and I am just going on down to Grants Pass. Going around Crater Lake on the way down and then staying at my sisters place in GP. Then on down Tuesday via hwy 96. See you down there.

    S.I.T.R. Rollcall....

This is going to be great fun. I am heading south fm The Dalles on hwy 97 and going to circle Crater Lake and end up in Grants Pass on the 17th, and on to Blue Lake the 18th via I-5 and hwy 96 and 299. Should fill up my gopro sd card both days. Having all those spyders together should be a blast.

New White RT Limited ----- What are your top Farkle?

I really like the spot idea and mounting it on the dash. Already have my gps there and still plenty of room on the jt bar. Had the gopro there but moved that to the side mirror due to the bugs on the windshield.

PGR MISSION THIS MORNING - HOMES FOR VETS.

I agree. I also enjoy doing our local pgr events. The families always seem to appreciate our presence. It is the least we can do for a fallen veteran. Some day it will be our time.

    go pro mounting

I have the jt dash mount and tried the gopro on it and it worked great. The problem for me was too many bugs hit the windshield. Had the same problem when I had it mounted behind the windshield on my 2 wheeler. So I just used one of the adhesive mounts on top of the mirror on my rt and it works...

    North to Alaska Blog

Looks like a great trip so far Love the pictures that are being posted. Been watching them on the spot map and looks like they are making good time. Of course the spot doesn't show the weather. Be neat if it did. At least they seem to have good satellite coverage. How cool, gotta do this next year.

Go pro camera pro silver 3

That's what I ended up doing with it. Tried it first on the dash but the windshield tends to get the bugs which interferes with the video. Same thing happened when I used it on my 2 wheeler behind the windshield. With the camera out in the wind very few bugs find the camera lens cover. I usually...

    Hot Like Fire

They fixed the heat problem with the 14. It also has the bigger engine. And the fix is out for the earlier ones with the heat issue. I'm having a ball with my 14 rt. I would say go for it and have fun.

great weather this weekend what are your riding plans

I usually have a destination but it almost always varies some. We had about 8 bikes today and went to Government Camp for lunch. We have a PGR event tomorrow and an overnight ride to Leavenworth, Wa next week. Love this great weather.

    Pointers Please

Had that same clunky noise on my honda 450 atv when shifting. Never did get used to it. But it was normal just like the Spyder. Still don't care for it tho

    Looking for wiring options/suggestions

I have a 14 rt and used the speaker screen for a cigarette plug wired to the battery. Am getting ready to put in another on the other side only will be a double USB port this time. They will be hot all the time but I just have to remember to unplug when done.

    Dash flashing Spyder

I tend to agree with this about maybe just a computer glitch. Only saw it flashing that one trip and nothing since. The fact that it stopped after I tightened the gas cap was probably a coincidence. Will certainly post it again and with a picture if it happens again

    Dash flashing Spyder

    It flashed the word Spyder

    Dash flashing Spyder

I turned it off and tightened the cap and the flashing never came back on. Hasn't done it since. Thought about leaving the cap loose but I see others have tried that so guess will wait and see if it ever happens again

    hidden turn signal lights

Would you have a part number? Looked at their web page but only item that looked close to yours was a 6 inch red strip and not sure if that was the same type. Looks like a great idea.

    Dash flashing Spyder

It was flashing in #4 slot. Orange color like when the trunk is open. I sent a msg to a spyder tech but haven't heard back. I guess maybe a way to duplicate this would be to leave the gas cap loose and see if it repeats. Might try that tomorrow.
