• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Spyder Homecoming!

I'll be starting in northern Indiana, then heading to Michigan and crossing into Canada from there. I think I'll stop in Toronto for the night, then head to Drummondville from there. Should make for a nice ride.

    Handlebar RAM mount.

I'm trying to find a good RAM mount to fit on the stock handlebars of an 08 GS SE5. I've seen one on eBay that looks like it clips to side of the center mount. I'm looking for something that bolts on and is cheaper. Does anyone have any suggestions, or pictures of what they use? Here is what...

    Does this look right?

I tried installing these same lights on my 08 GS SE5. I can't get them to work though. I tapped into the fender tip lights. They still work but the Auxbeam ones won't. I've tried them with a battery jump starter and they light, so I know the lights are good. I don't really want to wire straight...

    Belt guard

I just put spyderpop's missing belt guard on with no issues. It comes with a piece of cardboard on it that keeps the spacing so it's much harder to get it wrong.

Things you might not know, please add to this list. (RT Series)

I'm going to try this with my 08 GS SE5. That "clunk" has always annoyed me and worried me. I won't get to try it for a few days, as I have several new farkles to install, but I will report back.

    2008 GS SE5 clutch slippage

Once I'm out of first gear. I keep mine above 4000 RPM'S as much as possible. The do & do not's recommends keeping it over 4300.

    2008 GS SE5 clutch slippage

It could be low oil, or the wrong type of oil. Also what RPM range do you ride in? The engine and clutch is designed for hi RPM'S.
