Does this look right?

I tried installing these same lights on my 08 GS SE5. I can't get them to work though. I tapped into the fender tip lights. They still work but the Auxbeam ones won't. I've tried them with a battery jump starter and they light, so I know the lights are good. I don't really want to wire straight to the battery, with a switch that I can forget to turn off. Anyone have any ideas why they don't want to work?

Are you running a ground wire from the light to a clean metal surface somewhere? that would be my first guess, as far as the switch goes, i think its a better idea since you don't want the lights on all the time, it will be kinda hard to forget to turn the switch off with a very bright light shining in front of the bike

I would like them on all the time for the better visibility. I didn't run a separate ground wire. I just tapped into both writes running to the fender tip lights.
