• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Cup Holder in trunk

    I went to boat supply place (West Marine) on hwy 37 in Toms River. They have cup holders that fold flat. I just screwed them to the back of the trunk, just low enough that I can get 16oz refill cups in and out easily. I put one on each side. It took about 5 min.

    Last year I was invited to a local chapter meeting so they could check out the Spyder. They have a breakfast, raffle, then ride. I won $25 cash. It was a nice day with nice people. They all really liked the Spyder. There were 3 trikes there.

    Talk to me about reliability

    My 08' Spyder has almost 12,000 miles and no problems. Just dealer issues. Not looking forward to the 12,000 mi service and steering recall. I just know they will screw something up and take 3 weeks to fix it just like the 6,000 mi service. But the bike is awesome!!!!!!

    For warm weather I use the Hatch motorcycle officer gloves. Nice and thin (so cops can still use their gun). Winter is Gerbing heated.

    I'm taking a motorcycle repair and maintenance class at a local vocational school. All of the Harley guys have done all kinds of servicing on their machines. I would like to do the 12,000 mi but I need to know what supplies to get. The teacher has built customs and had a business of his own...

    If it's from honda and they come out with something like the spyder, I'd consider it just because I have no use for my dealer who is 1 hour away and there is a good Honda dealer is 5 min away.

    Spyder sighting in Toms River NJ

    I just saw a silver spyder pull out from Fisher Blvd onto Rt 37 west bound. It was around 12:30 Sunday. I was coming home from the remnants of the NJ HOG rally and barbeque fest in Seaside. Is this a ryder on this forum? I tried to catch up but I hit every red light on 37.

    BRP Factory shutdown ?

    I used to work for a company that made furniture and parts for schools. They too were in Canada and took a company wide summer vacation. Not fun trying to get parts or correct bad pieces during their break. I'm sure they deserved a break but to do it company wide is hard to deal with.
