There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Thinking of a way to mount a cup holder in the trunk. I dont want one mounted to the bars just something to get my coffee from dunkin donuts to work. Has anyone seen it done? It looks like I may have to get creative here.

Have not seen it -should not be hard to do. Where abouts in central jersey are you?

Whenever I get food to go, I use Velcro strips to attach the drink cup to the inside of my trunk liner.

Last summer, I purchased a plywood shelf from "Inspector Gaget" that he had made in his shop. I drilled a hole in the center of it (used a large hole saw) to fit the mid point on my drink cup. Worked great. Now I have purchased the rear shelf (made of plastic) from BRP. It's made to sit at the top of the rear compartment and about 3" below thw lid at a level plane. Drilled 2 holes in it (one for my drink and one for the bosses drink). works great. The plastic shelf is one of the accessories in the new 2011 accessorie catalog. Seems like the list price was around $30.00 but don't remember for sure.
Sorry I didn't save a picture of it.

If you buy the rear semi rigid bag, it comes with the shelf.
:2thumbs:

I went to boat supply place (West Marine) on hwy 37 in Toms River. They have cup holders that fold flat. I just screwed them to the back of the trunk, just low enough that I can get 16oz refill cups in and out easily. I put one on each side. It took about 5 min.

So you plan on leaving it in the dunkin donut cup? If you hit to big of a bump, I would think the top of the cup would come off.

Is the cup holder that mounts to the grab bars out as a choice. I'm talking RS here; don't know what the RT has.

List price for shelf is 59.99 . But I like your price better.

Iv'e been using a cup holder that i made out of plywood for at least 10 years never lost a top. I made two of them, a one cup, and a two cup.
The two cup is 10in long, 4in wide, 4in high with two holes to put the cups in. The one cup is 5 in long. I just drop the holder in my saddle bag.
On the Spyder i just lay it in the trunk, Believe it or not it stays put.

I've used a thermos type cup that I transfer the coffee to and then I put it in the mesh net in the front trunk liner. There is room for two cups and a bonus is that it stays hotter longer in the thermos.

:agree: Exactly what I was going suggest. I do this now with my HD ultra classic. Coffee stays hot and no mess.
