• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    New Shock Adjusters from BajaRon

I think that you're talking about the air shock adjuster for the rear shock. Ron's adjusters are made to fit on the front shocks .

We will be the other couple, but I'm bringing a cot, just in case. And thank you Karyl for making the arrangements, they are very much appreciated.

Baja Ron's RT shock adjuster - Report

Thanks for the responses and enquiries, I'll try to respond as best as I can. The difference between unloaded (wheels up) and resting (wheels down, no load) sag is 3/8" and between resting and loaded (I'm 180lbs fully equipped) is another 3/8" and that number remains consistent between 0-3...

Baja Ron's RT shock adjuster - Report

I'm one of Ron's test pilots for the front shock pre-load adjuster that he's developing and I'm providing this update with his permission. To provide some background, I've been riding for over 40 years and currently have a 2013 RT-S and a 1997 Honda Valkyrie. I started on Spyders in 2008 with a...

    Spyder FLIR? It could happen

A FLIR unit would be ideal to locate heat sources on 2013 RT's. Could also use it to check BRP executives as they get hot around the collar when NHTSA get their hands on them.

    Front Spring Stiffeners Available

My initial point referred to the shock and not the spring. It would be interesting to see if the spring has also changed. Thanks for following up and it looks like you have a very viable product.

    Front Spring Stiffeners Available

The shocks on the 2013 are of a smaller diameter than those on the 2014 and 2015 and I'm guessing that the spring strength has been increased on the 1330 to compensate for the increased weight.

Best mechanic in the Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada and California area.

It runs the gamut from misdiagnosing warranty work on the turn indicator to scratching the rear rim when installing a tire.

Best mechanic in the Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada and California area.

Sorry to disagree with M109, but my experience with the mechanics at RideNow, Peoria is less than stellar. Their attention to detail is poor and their analytical acumen is not that good either.

Motorcycle tire to car tire conversion

Please be very careful and check fender clearances on this mod. I own a Valkyrie and several Valk owners have successfully put car tires on the rear, but only after modifying the fender nuts that protrude from the underside of the fender. Because the shape of the car tire was more square, the...

    How to remove switch cluster

The wiring to those switches comes out on the left side and is held in place with a tie. Cut the tie and push as much slack as you can get up towards the switches. It's tight but you should get enough to unclip the switches from the plug end.

As a member of our Spyder family, I'm very happy that you're OK. As a member of our armed forces, I'm very grateful for your service.

Looking For Reviews On RIVCO Floorboards/Heel-Toe Shifter

I bought the floorboards for my RT-S during Sturgis and had to go back within an hour because although my street shoes would fit under the gear lever, my riding boots wouldn't. Rivco were extremely accommodating and fitted me out with the heel/toe changer and I have been a very happy camper ever...

Unable to turn the Ignition key

If you have the steering locked there may be excessive pressure on the locking bolt. Try releasing the pressure by turning the handlebars slightly while turning the key.

    Do I have to sell?

You may have to modify your Spyder to conform with UK regulations, for instance the headlight high/low beams are wired separately there.

    Side car for RT?

Voyager are probably the best known conversion manufacturer for 4 wheeled motorcycles and they have dealers in CA, PA and TX, so maybe times have changed. Their website also shows that they have sold conversions to police departments and I would doubt that the conversions were modified by the...

    Side car for RT?

bb Not sure I agree with that, there are so-called trike conversions that keep the existing back wheel of a two wheeler and add two more rear wheels. That gives them 4 wheels and I've never heard them referred to as automobiles.
