• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Iron Butt Association

I'm going to send in all my documentation for the certificate and the back plate. Do it again? = Hell Yeah! It has inspired me to go cross country. Do it again in the winter.....? ... not sure. It was a really tough ride and at my midpoint things got really ugly and I was ready to bail out by...

    CT. BIKESHOW

+1 on Gargano's Although they are not the closest dealer to me, they are the ones I chose based on how Stu, Mike, Bob and Bob Jr's methods on dealing with potential customers. Its a family business that takes care of their customers. They have gone out of their way for me many times over.

folks, here is a great opportunity to stock up on oil if you are not a fan of the Shell Rotella option. I chatted with this man over email. He is liquidating leftover inventory and gave me the offer to purchase cases at $70 a piece. Although I will not be purchasing any, I did tell him that I...

    New battery heading my way

I installed this battery yesterday morning and right out of the box it fired up the Spyder with no hesitation in 25 degree temp. The underside of the stock battery was completely brown on one side and I imagine it was acid as it made my hands tingle. Its so lame that they would place a battery...

    BRP Helmets

Still only an opinion. The helmet is DOT approved and just fine for road use. The helmet arrived today and I'm looking forward to wearing it tomorrow. In CT we don't have a helmet law and plenty of folks ride with just some WalMart sunglasses. Is it fact that its dangerous, yes. So what.. Enjoy...

    no power stering

Apparently BRP recommends that they are replaced at 30k miles. I'm real close to that number and my schedule is going to be tight over the next month so we went for it. Seems that everything was in really great shape except for those bearings, so I'm glad we went for it.

    Batteries Do It??

Gerbings.... I use Gerbings G3 gloves. If you are out there long enough you will be way better off with a 12V solution. Friday morning I left the house at 5:30 am and the temp was 21 Degrees. Hands and fingers stay nice and warm. After reaching a cruising speed of 65 on the highway...
