• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    GPS to plan my route.

I may be just a simpleton but I have a Garmin but I have found that I use my IPhone/map apps and my Bluetooth head set. I can hear the directions. I mount my phone on top of my dash so I can see the route as well as hearing it.

    Seat

I tried the Ultimate but it just wasn't right for me and thanks to their great customer service they took it back. I went to the RDL seat about 6000 miles ago. It took a while to break in but it is very comfortable. Just came back from a 900 mile trip with no rear end issues. The seat when all...

    Russell Day Long Seat

I have about 1500 on my recently purchased RDL. I had 2 issues originally, one was I kept sliding in the seat and it didn't feel like I was sitting inside the seat, which didn't make it comfortable. I learned the cure for the fist issue on this web site, the solution was to rub the seat down...

Thanks for the input. Yes I did get the Allen tool but I may have tightened it much and I think I will have to use a ratchet tool to get more leverage.

    Tri Axis Handle Bars

Great Vidios They were great. I am one of those people that thinks there are left and right handed screw drivers. I had mine installed and it took 3+ hours for them to do it. My question though is making the adjustments up/down/ in and out. I haven't had a problem loosening the top 2 screws...

    squared away

Went to the Long Beach motor cycle show this past weekend but the main reason I went was to have Joe and Ann Meyer of Squared Away do an alignment on my Spyder. Great job and very nice people. You never know how hard you fight to steer until you have them do an alignment. When driving back to...

    temp gage

I replaced my temp gage with a 12 volt, that is active only when the ignition is on. I expected the temp info to show up on my dash but it doesn't. I took my RT in for the 3000 and tech said he didn't know how to make that happen but he would do more research. I am sure someone in Spyder land...

I have about a 100 mile on my Russell. I slide down the seat is that normal and just part of the break-in process? I also ride higher than on the OEM seat, I like it but I'm just trying to figure out if I need a re-do or just more patients. Thanks
