• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    B.E.S.T. Plus question?

BEST Sales Brochure From BRP's website. Be cautious with what you read. The site implies that B.E.S.T. is available in Florida. But CanAm dealers here say it is not. The two I deal with offer either Pinnacle or Zurich extended warranties. Moreover, the on-line brochure is dated 2008.... I have...

HELP, Leaving for Spyderfest, Need a jump start

Were it me -- --- I'd want to know the source of the problem with the battery before I headed out on an interstate ride. My 2010 RT A/C is in the shop right now for a dead battery. Turns out that the magneto quit charging it. The Spyder threw every error code imaginable when the battery...

    AAA membership for Spyder

Another important AAA feature AAA provides coverage for any bike you happen to be riding, not just the membership vehicle. I've had the Spyder covered since purchase, but never needed to use it. However, was out on a friend's Honda Shadow a couple of weeks ago and the battery died in the middle...

Great customer service from Cardo Somewhere along the line I lost a Q2. Went to the Cardo tent in Daytona last October prepared to buy another set. Murphy sucks

    What are people paying for....

Varies widely in NE Florida Closest dealer to me charges nearly $400. I don't go there any more. Others vary from a low of $220 up to $313. Typical labor rate is roughly $100 per hour, so that's where a lot of the $$$ goes.

    RT Covers

Factory cover tows fine I had no problems during Summer 2010 towing RT all over East Coast. Used extra strap-bungee around windshield to prevent flapping. No chafing or rash anywhere on Spyder.

    Dragon tail

How illegal? Was there in early August. An 18-wheeler blocked the oncoming lane on a limited-vision switchback and trapped a Wing under the trailer. The Tail was shut down for hours. Talk among the locals standing around on the shoulder was that commercial traffic is routine. Don't know the...

NEW Full RT cover rated in Catolog for Trailering

Correct you are.... Back in June 2011 I sent a letter to BRP with a copy of the instructions you have. With virtually no comment, BRP responded with revised instructions which made no reference to not using the cover while underway. Since the new verbage did not prohibit the use I went ahead...
