Asked another passerby how it might be registered. He claimed that if you swung a leg over it, it got registered as a motorcycle. There's some logic to his answer.....lol....

Heres how
You have a legally registered 3 wheeler, Throw a 4th wheel on it, And if your state doesn't have a inspection on bikes, You can get away with it , Until a cop realizes it ain't right / and or you get in an accident.

Some Side by sides. [Electric] can be registered as a low speed vehicle, Only to be operated on roads posted under 40 MPH, Polars makes one.
