• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can you accompany the seller to his financial institution where he pays the difference on the loan and then you pay the agreed to price directly to the lien holder? Ooops missed part of your post.....yes go to his bank!

    Report problems to BRP

I am a "let the dealer figure it out guy" however the fact that you have acknowledged that it may take some time to get a response is positive. Guessing somewhat here, but normally a manufacturer that has dealers "represent" them will not have in house resources to accept large volume service...

Did you ever lost any panel?

Don't mean to be a smarta** but no I don't know that? Never had a problem that has not been addressed quickly and efficiently by my dealer. Now my dealer is a dedicated BRP facility, they sell nothing but new BRP products (Seadoo, Skidoo, Canam ATV's and the Spyder). This is fairly common in...

Did you ever lost any panel?

I'm with ya..................sort of. But why is the customer dealing directly with BRP for a replacement side panel? This perplexes the crap out of me why so many owners are dealing directly with the manufacturer. I have owned 3 BRP products over the years, and never once have I spoken to BRP...

    Louvered vent on whidshield?

http://www.calsci.com/motorcycleinfo/SpyderRTprod.html depends of course what you are after. I run the tinted shorty 19" as I prefer to look over it rather than through it. The vent is for sure the way to go to reduce the head bobble effect IMHO. I do get a little kick from the folks that want...

Okay- now I am paranoid---2012 RTS-SE5 Boiling gas

Like Jerbear mentioned not sure if this helps but over at the Goldwing Forum they speak frequently about this issue all the way back to the early 1990 models. They site "Tupperware" and "Engine Heat" and "Air Temperature" as contributing factors, all generally agree it happens on occasion but it...

Okay- now I am paranoid---2012 RTS-SE5 Boiling gas

The fact that you have some mechanical knowledge I would encourage you to take the Tupperware off. It is not that difficult and it will make you feel a whole lot more comfortable when you actually see it "naked". Now as far as you being paranoid I would suggest that this is a normal response...
