I heard they want to do it preemptively, because private space tourism is starting up. Next thing you know they'll want to disallow motorcycles in the park!

Innovative, but scarry. Congress need to take care of the more "down to earth" things before embarking on something like a National Park on the moon. Where are the billions of dollars to fund that pipe dream going to come from?

I think this is a good idea. No one is saying they have to staff and run the park... just get it listed as a National Park to protect it for the future.
