• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Lowering the Spyder

Air shock like Lamonster did. Then it isn't permanent and it's readily/rapidly adjustable. Kinda thinking a permanent mod isn't gonna be a good thing.

110 mile cold air intake review

Interesting that such a relatively simple change could have such a noticeable effect. One question- It was hard to tell from the other thread if both vents are hooked to the airbox or just the throttle side? And I'm kinda thinking the boating world probably has a plethora of vents of all...

    Windshield wraps for Cal-Sci windshields

That don't flash, it's just retina burnin' bright! :2thumbs: Ok, ok, I'm flashy enough I don't need a flashy bike. How's that? ;)

    Windshield wraps for Cal-Sci windshields

Looks cool, but personally I'd prefer one that faded from black at the bottom to clear at the top like the BRP touring shield does. I guess I'm just not that flashy. :dontknow:

    Spyder Cruise Control

If you're looking for an electronic cruise control that won't break the bank you might give these guys a look. Same folks that make the Audiovox vacuum unit. Cost is around $200 for the cruise and control panel, but that beats the heck outta $700+. Known to work on a 650 V-Strom, so the Spyder...

I installed the riser all by myself!!!

Bear in mind that I have neither the risers or a Spyder when you read this... I would think that if you need the bars end to be closer to you or farther away from you you should be able to bend the stock bars a bit to get the angle you want/need before you cut them off. The stock bars...

Glad to hear you and the spider made it home relatively unscathed. Nice trip. :congrats: Soooo.... what's the rear tire look like? :p

    Another windshield option

One of the concepts of the Madstad & the I7 (I assume) screens is the spacing of the windshield out away from the fairing to allow wind to go up the back side of the screen. This allows that airstream to hit the air coming over the front of the screen and breaks it up causing less turbulence...

    Can anyone help me??

Hmmm... might be tough with a manual. With an SE5 you could maybe find someone to rig up a foot throttle on the left side. Perhaps let the tranny downshift for you and put a finger throttle on the left grip (like a ATV thumb throttle). Somebody will be more up on this than me though, I'm sure...

    Fuel mileage and stock muffler?

It depends. Are you romping the throttle more to "hear" the new can maybe? Could be an unconscious thing.

introducing Copperhead a Miller Boys Toy

Another sweet paint job. I'm gathering ideas for mine. I really like how yours & Monique's add color to the back of the bike. Too much black on the stock scheme for my tastes. This balances that out. I think I'd leave the lower side panels black, but then again I'm not going to do metal flake...

    Meet my little pumpkin ....

Very nice, I love the color! I also like the panel layout. Much better than the stock configuration IMO. :2thumbs:
