• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

20K

Glad to hear you and the spider made it home relatively unscathed. Nice trip. :congrats:

Soooo.... what's the rear tire look like? :p

Glad you're back, I'm a little envious, had to cancel my trip west when my FA "advised" not touching my IRA til next year. Waiting IMPATIENTLY :chill:.

You are the " Man " ... I know it was exciting , tiring and quite an experience to have done such a trip ... I'm happy to see you made it back home to your family and friends and to us , your fellow SpyderLovers !!!

:congrats:

My :congrats: also !!! Sorry I missed ya when you passed thru Sioux City. :banghead: Maybe another time !!!

You made the trip I had always dreamed about. I should have taken out the time to make it when the all I had were strings holding me down. Now that those strings changed to chains the closest I'll ever come to making such a trip will be by looking at your photos and using my imagination. Welcome back !!

Richard

This was my mileage as I pulled in the driveway last night.:doorag:

All I do when I'm home is ryder my spyder - kids just don't understand - Wife does, sometime she goes also!
BTW My wife is my co-driver we have driven 161k since 01/13/08. Near Portland OR right now Long ways from Alabama - but on 18 wheels LOL

Lamonster, I'm closing in on 20K miles pacing my living room waiting for my red SE. Went through 2 pair of sneakers already but haven't done deals gap yet.

Hi Lamonster, I was just wondering if you checked or adjusted the valves yet? I remember you saying you would post some pictures when you did it. Thanks Nice trip.
I'm also interested in findings during the first valve check. There is not much talk about the valves and what others are finding when they have them checked. I know on the Aprilla there is little need for shim changes untill high mileage or race track type riding habits. Come on Lamonster fill us in, you do realize a lot of us really value your opinions and experiences. Glad you had a great trip and got home safe. My guess is, you won't stay there too long, You are a travelin man.
