• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Congrats on the F3! Nice write up, too! Did you get a bump skid with the LED lights? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    A Few F3 Farkles

@BeRight - that's ram mount for my phone. I plan to mount a Garmin GPS at the center of the bars, similar to the RT location. @Yazz - the tank bag came with three straps - two with a loop at one end and a hook at the other, and one long one with a hook at each end. The nominal installation is...

    A Few F3 Farkles

Had the chance to install a few items on the F3 today - a Nelson Rigg CL-1045 tank bag and a Butler mug. A few more things to install... By the way, with the seat removed, the rectangular tube in the center of the picture below is an easy place for things like, say a pocket knife, to fall...

New bag from Corbin for the F3 (Sneak Peak)

I want! The Corbin seat will be here on Tuesday. Can't wait to add the bags! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Corbin announces...

Lamont - that's exactly why I went with the Corbin - to get the flexibility with a single backrest and the heated seats. I had meant to ask what was different about the Lamonster Cut, but with the versatility of the peg positions, I don't think the extra inch will be as important to me. I would...

    One Hot ride

I noticed the warm right leg the first day I rode the F3 home - it was in the low 80's that day. I've noticed it several other times since, but not necessarily every ride. I think the wind direction may be a factor in how the heat rolls out of the engine area. I haven't noticed it enough in the...

    Tank Bag

I should get it early next week and will post some pictures as soon as I get it on the F3. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Tank Bag

I've got an RKA luggage tank bag that I had on my last bike. This is 7" wide. The tank bag probably can't get much wider without the stock handlebars hitting it at full throw. As it is, the cluster just kisses the bag. Since I wanted something a bit larger, I ordered a Nelson Rigg CL-1045 this...

Yet another windshield thread for F3

I wear a modular full face helmet. I haven't been through enough "buggy" areas to know if the windshield will deflect the majority of the bugs up and over. I doubt the Blue Ridge will have much of an effect on thrown stones - I think that's more of a line-of-sight deal versus airflow. In...

Yet another windshield thread for F3

I'm 6' even with the stock handlebars and the BR windshield. I've not experienced any head bobbing due to the air blast. As I mentioned in another thread, I'm getting some dirty air from my shoulder blades and up, but no direct wind blast. I can turn my head side-to-side without any additional...

    i need a windshield

I also have the Blue Ridge and am 6'. I agree with DLewis - it's not too bad. Most or all of my helmet is out of the main airflow, but I do get some spillage beginning with my shoulders. It's enough to remind me that I probably ought to wear my FF helmet or at least something with a full visor...

Does your F3 have blotches on the suede Seat?

Same here. Not sure if the look comes from a true variation in color or a visual variation due to the grain in the suede laying in many different directions... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Corbin Seat and Back Rest

I went with the heated seat option and a single standard backrest. I had a heated seat on the BMW and loved it! Their prices are in the website, but that combination comes in at just under $1100. I ride solo most of the time, and wanted a backrest. My wife wants to ride with me occasionally, so...

    F3 Fuel Gauge and fill-ups

When I get the automatic shut-off when filling up, the gas in the tank usually doesn't seem to be quite to the bottom of the fill tube. I'll add additional gas to get it to the bottom of the fill tube (which is when the gas will quickly fill the tube and splash out if you're not careful). A few...

    Sena 20S - Considering buying

We had the SMH-10s for several years and loved them. Upgraded to the 20S for Christmas. (Bought them from a Spyderlovers sponsor.) Main reason was to increase the number of folks we could connect to. Since I've moved to an F3, I like the fact that it has a built-in FM radio. I like the fact that...
